Mark's guys came and install the kitchen window frame yesterday, also took out the living room windows, wife loves the brightness of the place:) Yeak's tilers really friendly and good. Progress looks good, both toilets are completed, kitchen almost done, left living room flooring and kitchen flooring. Royal Fanco will be delivering the sinks and stuff on Saturday morning. More payments to be made..... Anyone with good contacts for wallpaper & curtains? Will prefer those that can come to the place to measure, very busy recently with work + reno, not much time to run around to get quotations.

Hehe, Yeak also suggested to us not to use glass backing but we'll probably go for it and then worry about cleaning up much later:) Adrian, some tips Yeak shared, some of the power pts can be hidden under the cabinet, like your mirror cabinet, it may be possible to have the points facing downwards towards the table. Check with him if you like, can hide the power points. Will using both dark brown for your MBR toilet make it look dark?

I've gotten a quote from 3M, they have $6-$7psf range. Didn't get a proper quote yet because I haven't give her my window sizes. Maybe too reflective for my liking but are they others in the market which can block out heat >80% and yet not so reflective?

Been a busy few days, met Mark from Wellmax (Thanks Tulips ) and gotten a pretty good quote from him to change my balcony & kitchen windows, also going with him for gates & bi-fold doors. Nice guy, I got excited by his prices and wanted to do the whole house initially but came back home, kanna whack by wife... Suppose to save money, went to spend even more $$$. He was nice enough to re-calculate on Saturday evening and still give a good price, now to see their workmanship and will feedback once its completed. They'll be rushing to put up the kitchen frame this Tuesday, so that Yeak's men can continue tiling. Also went to look for solar film and curtains over the weekend. Because of my curve balcony, have to custom-make the railings and maybe the curtain too...

If 47x can get 22k COV, I think very good deal for him. The agents told us the school around that area is the better one in this area, not sure how true is it but can always use as another selling point

Oh, thought in the kitchen, we have similar pipes in kitchen and both toilets. Going to box up all of them, nicer looking... we vain:)

But I was told by a salesman that prices may go down during the rainy season (maybe August), since yours still long, can consider waiting. - We also used the time to check out lightings and bathroom/kitchen fittings, to get rough idea of prices. - Yeak can only give a rough estimate of the prices, actual will need to measure. And you'll probably add or minus stuff in between, we probably had 4-5 changes before finalizing. Both of us abit fickle minded, I think... - Sit around, drink kopi and complain how inefficient HDB is, 12 weeks just to settle a resale process....
