  1. Amazing that despite the feedback here, people still asking for wellmax's contact.... Nearly 2 years already, one of my windows have to jerk it each time I open it and there is algae or green stuff growing under the silicon... I'm back here looking for window grilles now but even if they give me free, I'll look elsewhere... Anyway, good luck to those who still want to contact them....
  2. If you need to contact me, am mostly at hwz forums, under the nick ziggyy.

Yeak's contact is also in my signature

  3. Hi All, been a real long time since I've logged in here... Didn't realised so many PMs, sorry if I missed replying to any. I believe you'll be able to find Yeak's contacts from the rest still here and good luck. Been a great experience having him and will continue to recommend him to my family and friends too. Only thing I've heard that he's still so busy;) May need to look for some minor stuff like window grills and such soon, so just popping back into this forum for more ideas.
  4. Thanks, personally felt the blue backing was a little expensive but wife wanted it and the effect is pretty good, worth it:)
  5. Have fun;) Remember to get him to photocopy the drawing, will be useful if you need to recall what was discussed.
  6. PJ, can added pwr points even now and they’ll need to tap from another pwr point but like Adrian said, there’ll be some trunking involved.
  7. I got mine 5 years back from Nature Co but now looking for cheaper alternatives.
  8. Thanks, reno completed, now just hanging around looking for ideas for water fountain and a home theater set. For the horizontal bars, do note the size of your commonly used bottles, give a little more space for your hand to go in to press the bottle.
  9. Actually, the 3M hanger thing did drop my clock before ;)
  10. Hey Tulips, Just saw your bowls:) It may still crack because the material used in these bowels can be quite brittle, a sharp knock, say by a pole may crack it easily. But it does look interesting, a 'feature' in the kitchen. Other things you may consider in the future, bricks, hollow block pieces, stones used for water feature (http://www.natureco.com.sg/productdetail.asp?CatCode=C21&ProdCode=195) can prob find cheaper ones though.
  11. Didn’t meet Yeak’s brothers till the carpentry started, both quite nice, the eldest one looks like a old Hong Kong actor, pretty funny too. Don’t forget about your wardrobe too, seems easy enough but you or your wife may like specific heights and plan for drawers and such. My wife & I drew out our own wardrobe, with measurements but my wife didn’t want my input and happy happy put in dimensions which turned out too high or large for her stuff, had to call Yeak to take out and change some things (when everything is completed) but not all things can be changed, so she’ll have to live with it. Copied the TV console design from a picture in a magazine, hide all the electrical points inside but his man blur blur, go and drill the hole for the wires a little off the centre so now if you sit in the centre of the sofa, you’ll see the bunch of wires quite off the centre of the tv.
  12. Thanks, we like the blue too, Yeak showed us someone else using orange backing but think blue still a little safer;) As soon as we got the flat and the floorplan, started thinking of designs for the kitchen since my wife complained its too small. Decided to go with a U shape design and also had to make sure our current fridge and new washing machine can fit. Did a lot of draft drawings using the floorplan and used the ikea magazine alot, very useful for ideas and measurements of common items. FYI, if anyone doing this, remember to tell your contractor about the height of your washing machine, we totally didn’t think of that, luckily Yeak checked with us, else they could have made the solid surface into one straight line. If you noticed, there’s a little step up for the washing machine. Yeak likes to remind us that he thought of that;) Oh, and there’s never enough powerpoints, include as many as you can, we’ve just asked them to put one more just above the washing machine for our rice cooker and kettle. Didn’t think of that the last time.
  13. Kitchen (which took the longest time to design and caused the most headaches) Extendable table
  14. Common bathroom with alot of input from Yeak
