thank you for your reply... didnt tell him yet holes are drilled but not used for hinges/shelves as in wrong location or of bad alignment.... the carcass are of height about 2.3m, their joints were badly done, the handles were the real joke, all edges were not even, when we removed from the barely-dried-yet cut-outs, the paint either peel onto the masking tape or remained on the soft glue...... i am those chingchye type, was still soft when going through with my ID, i have to give some chances for touch-up and rectification.

wow... my newly installed carpentary works too, suffered from those multiple such raw holes and cannot justify acceptance. its not the dollars-&-cents issue, totally case of bad judgement and poor trust on my ID i am paying them proper rates. i cannot believe the standard of carpentary work i received so far. i went to view yesterday nite and passed my friendly comments to my ID this afternoon, and i am giving the team few more days to touch-up and rectify the ugly cheap (peeling paint) handles they installed. besides uneven shelvings and bad alignment, i have a total crap load of carcass with multiple raw holes from error drilling. Cannot comprehend how can such products pass their factory QC and kana installed (as PERMANENT fixtures) without site inspection. bad joints, peeling laminates were also sighted. i have requested for better hinges and drawer tracks, i cannot imagine how much adverse the situation is if i stick to their regular options. i am contemplating not to foot the topup at all. if these are not rectified to an acceptable standard, i will expose this relatively new ID firm in their dedicated thread serving as a warning to others. still very pissed offffff..........

wow! didn't expect the staining issue can be big, i guess, there should be more cases that were not shared here. i am sure not only LSH's tiles are like this. what was the cost of tiles like that have such staining effects. i think if really can't accept then better talk to them especially its our own houses, which we will stay for at least few years before selling off. & talking about that, those undesired stains ( or fresher upcoming) ones can depreciate our units.....

Hi Reinshagen, Curious about the final dimensions of your living room. By creating the partition/storage, would the sofa be too close to your TV for comfortable viewing? Thanks in advance!
