If you mean AV Receiver (avr). Then you will need one compartment for that. If what you mean is pre-amplifer and power amplifier, think you will need one each. For audiophile, they prefer to have preamp and power amp. The cd player is also separate from those DVD player. I would assume you meant avr. AVR - one compartment. mio tv box, DVD player - one compartment. B<B - one compartment (unless you use the AVR for karaoke)

pet: yes it is true that the mother guppies eat up the fries. I have witness before when I just started breeding guppies. guy77: If I were the mother guppy, definitely I would not want to be in those plastic delivery tank. Next time when you used it, watch the mother if she is different from before. I have used that delivery tank before and throw it away after it gave too much stress for the mother. The space in there is also too small. That's why I choose the natural way of another conducive tank which I decorated as much as possible to it's natural environment and with lots of moss below.

It will depend on what you have or intend to put. If you have a Avr, I would advise not to stack and keep the window open. My current Avr when in used can go up to quite high in temperature. So one compartment solely for your avr. Another thing to note is that avr can be quite heavy. Mine is 15kg. If you have one or intend to put one, need to inform Jason so that he can strengthen the console. Think got to use heavy duty wall plugs. The rest, dvd player, dvd recorder can stack. So really need to discuss if you intend to have or already have other equipements. If you do not mind, can share what you will put and intend to put. Then we can discuss if sufficient.

Ok share another tip today. If the mother guppies feel threaten she will eat up the fries. The fries will also be free food for the rest of the pack. One way to do it is to use moss. Once the mother give birth to the fries, they will sink to the bottom. The moss will help to prevent adults guppies from feeding the fries. If possible have a tank solely for delivery. Remember to feed the mother well. She will eat the fries if she is hungry as well. If possible try to wait for the delivery and siphon the fries to a different tank. That's what I did. Very tiring to keep up all night waiting but it is worthwhile, trust me. Ok lah, enough fish talk. Should concentrate on reno...sorry sidetrack too much today.

Remember to ask the man of the house what are the equipments you are going to house in there. I feel that two compartments might not be enough. Eg. like AVR, DVD player, DVD recorder, PS3/xbox/wii, cable setup box, miotv set top box, htpc etc.

If you go buy female guppies, (those that not very pretty, dull color and small tail) try zooming on the stomach to see if you see a black spot. If have then she is pregnant and will you will need to help with the delivery for about 8 to 10 fries. So buy one get about 8 to 10 free. Hope there are no fish shop owner here.

Haha..trade secret. Actually there are two ways. One is to look at the tail. Male one is fanny, colorful and nicer . Second way, you can distinguish by the shape of the body. Male is skinny and smaller. Try going to any fish shop. Compare the size and the shape, colour of the tail and you sure won't go wrong.

Hi Guy77, I was also into guppies and has about 80 of them at the max. But has stopped rearing now and going to restart when I move. They multiply so fast that I couldn't cope. I even segregate them into different tanks from male and female and also keep a very conducive breeding tank to choose the mating couples. I remember every now and then I have to go to the pond to release some of them. But I feel very happy everytime I see the mother guppies give birth to the baby fries.

Update for the day. Today afternoon suppose to meet three person. Managed to meet only one. Wanted to remind uncle about the appointment but think he did not turn on the hp. I was thinking today at least 6 owners will get the aeroplanes. I do not know if Jason will meet me at my place and so need to confirm with him the appointment. Thanks to growler and familyof4 for his hp number. Jason couldn't make it as well and will meet the next day. Managed to meet Ah Hock and discuss with him on the windows and grille. He suddenly turned up at my place when I tried calling him to meet appointment. Was surprised that he told me he is already at my block. So today not too bad, at least managed to have discussion with Ah Hock.
