  3. hi newnew! was jus abt to update today and saw your msg.. so qiao.. hehe.. sorry for e lack of updates cause had been busy cleaning e house almost everyday! super tiring... after moving in for 2 months, we are beginning to see e downside of having a white house liao.. e tiles grouting and solid top is e killer!! and all e glass too.. haha.. but still, we like e overall turnout.. congrats on your moving in! hows everything so far? i want to go your house see see leh! and i've been seeing your car frequently.. saw your car at ikea on sat! haha.. which model u choose for your bedframe? any pix? actually mine not very long la.. jus mayb 15cm longer than e actual one.. later take pix let u see.. n u can put your mind at ease with Hommage.. their service and workmanship quite good.. i give them precise measurement of my bedframe and when it came, it fits perfectly.. :D:D

  12. btw, anyone knows where to get wooden rice bucket? cant seems to find it in e neighbourhood store or ntuc/cold storage..
  13. hehe, yeah, i guess glass really needs a lot of maintenance.. must be prepared to be hardworking! if i remember correctly, it cost $1899 for e dining table with chairs.. but personally i feel not very worth to buy an item solely from furniture club.. very x.. mayb u can try see S&C got carry this table a not? might be cheaper..
  14. oh forget to add, for those getting glass for their house too, remember to choose tempered glass.. all tempered glass should come with this logo..
  15. yes yes, am glad that we choose them.. moreover, their pricing also reasonable.. i seek a few contractors pricing and its similar to Ideal House.. would recommend them to my friends..
  16. Signed up a package with Furniture Club and confirmed my items a few weeks ago.. was supposed to choose 4 items (sofa, tv console, coffee table and dining table with chairs) but end up taking 3 items only as the sofa we choose is extremely costly.. Items will not be able to deliver in time for my move in as my sofa needs customization.. In e meantime, we will be sitting on e floor.. haha.. my bedframe will not be delivered on time too.. will only come in a week later.. so many delays... Sofa! will be getting it in white! i love e clean cut lines.. Dining Table.. my coffee table is a smaller version of this.. Dining Chair x 4.. also in white..
  17. yes, it is my shoe cabinet! wahaha~~ big hor? its even bigger than my wardrobe lo! e shoe cabinet is 11.5ft n my wardrobe only 8 ft lo..... haha.. my house done by Melvin Yick from Ideal House.. so far satisfied with their works.. workmanship good n neat..
  18. Common toilet with shower screen up~ and lastly, my very problematic counter top.. front view.. (sorry for e blurness.. taken with shakey hand..) top view.. was suppose to be solid top one.. but then.. .. back view.. y problematic leh u may ask? 1)its due to it being moveable, e carpenter had a hard time trying to make e counter in line with e wall. (try to picture it by looking at e 1st pix) 2)because i want to make e inner solid top to look connected to the kitchen solid top, end up in between the counter cabinet and the kitchen cabinet (near oven there), there is a lobang.. (try to picture it by looking at 3rd pix) 3)e counter was made too big that when i open my oven door, it will hit e counter.. 4)lastly, as mention, suppose to have a solid top for my counter top (pix 2).. but if put a solid top, e solid top will cause a protrude on e left hand side which as a result create a gap between e counter and wall.. hmm, im not sure whether u guys understand wat im toking above.. but in short, my counter had been adjusted at least 4 times! luckily now all had been done n it looks nicey~ hehe.. not perfect but im satisfied..
  19. My living room before my glass divider.. *super love e long living room..* My divider up.. Kitchen glass up! Laundry area glass up!
  20. thanks rierie~ my wardrobe is open concept de.. nothing to cover.. *preparing for dust to invade* will be trying to minimism e dust by keeping e windows close at most times..
  21. haha, if you dun mind e openness u can come la huh? btw, i feel that e rainshower n e normal shower head e effect is e same leh.. nothing to wow abt.. so imo, not very worth to install.. i will be helping him to clean one la~ 1 person clean will die lo... really got too many glass liao.. im saving hard for my iecologi!
  22. my house is 95% ready and handover will be this coming Friday and move in date on Saturday.. F I N A L L Y ! ! after so many months, mumulovenest is almost complete! many many thanks to my hubby who had been running frequently up n down e house, checking and coordinating with e works.. a foot massage will be awarded to you after we settle our move in.. went for e first round of house cleaning on Sunday and only manage to clean our master bedroom, master toilet and e flooring for living and kitchen/laundry area.. simply too many things to clean and a lot of dust! As we clean, we discover more defects which is good as there are still some time left to do up e defects before we move in.. Outstanding things till date: - My dining light which will come this week (i hope no more delays liao!!), laundry and some downlights.. - Amendment to Alumix poles - Parquet finishing - Others small small little stuff which i cant remember.. .. Tok no more n lets look at my current home status.. Starting with master bedroom.. Glass up for my master toilet! Nice ma?? With glass divider.. Can see? Close up of the toilet glass My Alumix pole system.. Will be adding in another 'bar' on the right hand side to hang hubby's clothes as i figured out having e middle part alone wont be enough for us both..
  23. halo new.. these few weeks been busy running here n there to get stuff for our new home.. always end up late home so very reluctant to on my laptop.. lazy lah.. but will post up pix shortly.. can do concealed piping.. but our id advice not to cause if we conceal the piping, in future if (touch wood!) e pipe burst, we will have to hack down e tiles n fix e piping.. will be very troublesome.. if i remember correctly, i think he also mention better to use copper (which is more x i think) for conceal piping.. but then for copper need to weld it so there is a tendency of leaking.. due to human error for not connecting e piping properly.. think u got to double confirm this with your contractor.. btw, u doing instant heater with rain shower? i tested my rain shower and the pressure seems fine..
