i really do not recommend it because its not going to benefit any party. i doubt you can save much either if you are the ID and now i ask you to work with contractors whom you are not familiar with, its harder to match working style. Will the contractor listen to ID and come back for retification? Perhaps not cos its a once off business. ID work with contractors they are familiar on a regular and long term basis so there is ongoing and future interest.

i think the complains are actually not about the quality but the pricing (and claims) surely their stuff are from china (at least those i checked out)

WOW Within 3 days from posting in the forum asking for ID, you search high and low and found ben, and he give you the quotes and design? Plus you compared quotes from other ID as well? So you know his pricing is reasonable? Do share with us the pics and quotes if possible. Otherwise its just hard to believe.

if only someone genuine that praise NW would start a t-blog, show pics of reno, tell us what furniture/electricals they buy, quotes, schedule, what freebies they got.

if a t-blog is an advert then everyone is advertising their id already with all the warning signs in this thread, in fact, even if free reno i also dun think i wanna risk my time/place. the complains you can see are from genuine members in this thread (ppl with substantial contribution and pics) still no pics on this thread from those who praise NW.

its good to know that some id does do that. but personally if i wish to attack, it would be towards the big boys. but there is not much point attacking other firms cos there are too many around. anyway it will be great if you can share pics of the reno that you have. most often, we see a lot of phantom member who do not pose pics because they cant. imagine they posting pics and their client happen to read the post! so thats why we regularly ask for pics so that genuine recommendations will be more appreciated. the number of fake members recommending this firm in this thread is indeed amazing. fake members can never post like real members

I accept your apologies But i have to explain that when there is a new member that register and immediately post and its to promote someone's services, and following that, every post is to advertise and promote someone, its very suspicious. if you put yourself in my shoes with the same facts, you will be suspicious as well. Its not targeting adeline or barney or it could be a hippo for that matter but we need to highlight to members when we see suspicious postings by specific members and before your clarification, all the evidence point to your nick being a phantom nick. unfortunately your relentless advert for adeline could have been unfair to her then.

care to share with us your quote? pics of your place? a lot of phantom member advert own service here lah. if i am wicked from my posting, then what about members who register and post only about their fantastic id/pricing/quotes and end up cheating fellow members to sign up with them? 5 pages of bad comments and the only ones praising are newly registered members. renotalk got case where whole firm of id was posting in renotalk as customers, this thread has a lot of similar characters like that too.
