Doing my reno now. After painting, watermark stains appeared esp during heavy rainfall recently. Informed Town council immediately and HDB went to view my place along with my ID. They saw the leakage and checked the roof and confirm there is a problem. Town council say they will retify. I ask them when, they cannot commit. Say depend on weather and schedule. So i ask them what basis/guideline they are working on for weather prediction, she couldnt answer me. So she just say these 2 months rainy season. Give them 3 month! After a lot of dragging she say will do by end jan. After talk a lot more, she say will try to do the kitchen and toilet. But my master bedroom ceiling also!! She say must waterproofing the whole ceiling and if raining will affect the others cos it will leak through. if waterproofing must do the whole roof cannot be partial. I need more ideas to force them to get the job done when they are trying to be ambiguous.

This means my painting will drag cos paint liao then rain also create water stain......argh. top floor is like that....

since you guys not using ah soon why dun just break away and source for own contractor rather than use someone linked to ah soon and also seems dodgy? later repeat same mistake due to the contractor charging cheap again and want high deposit?

I met the person in charge of drawing and he was nice. Then he referred us to the ID but it took a while before we were contacted. pricing was a bit high as well. When countered with another package from another firm, they were willing to match but claimed to get those prices,, its lousier material. Din follow up with them though.

yah its very nice but i decide not to get it liao. paiseh had to cancel order from hommage as i decide to get a more woody tv console instead. match my home better there is a display set at hommage the last time i visit $599 if you go to furniture mall shops there sell it between 800 to around 1300 same same but price tag different save you from doing homework.

Reason i am still in this thread is because it could have easily been me as well. After all the rave and even facebook group created for Ah soon, plus the self organised home visit. What stopped me was luckily some post about him being very busy to meet up, quotes in chinese, have to wait for quotes etc .
