Dont be too stressed... for my case...i am very firm with the kitchen color i want so hubby said let me decide. my kitchen and common toilet will be same theme....white and green... same as rondy...and i had went to re-select my tiles yestd with yeak le...he is really very patient guy....

hi Angel, your handover mid march ahh...tats fast leh...that means approx. 5 weeks reno... Yeak said he will try to handover my house end March...thats means after yours will be mine liao... My 3 room unit oso consider overhaul...but i did not hack my living room flooring...and choose to overlay laminate instead...

Thanks...Oh ya have u selected ur reno contractor... Mine is at 30K for now...still got plus..cos added some items...It gg over our budget.... Hihi...today me went for my 1st appt le..finally after the long wait...After our 1st appt we met up with the ID and his quote ard $28k+. I think his price is reasonable but i still have not see his carpentry work yet maybe arrange to see this weekend... Your $30K includes Re-wiring? Mine oso overhaul leh...but i think your carpentry more than mine...i dun hv barcounter & divider like yours leh..heehee...divider quite ex rite?

Hi roamca, My ID chose the foyer tiles.. The color is like dark brown.. Oh..so its tiles....wah...cant see any gap in between tiles leh... tot its laminate! Hope to see more pictures from you...

[My renovator done for me the permit, i think should be quite fast.. if u wanna done renovation before the 2nd appt u nid to go town council to get a indeminity form. May i check with you how many days do you take to apply the permit to hack the wall between living n kitchen? I also intend to hack tat wall to make the living are bigger...scared not enuf time to do reno...

Hi ahben83, Thank u for your suggestion..we had asked the seller before and they said they will not be moving out early so....no chance We are very rush is also because do not want to clash with qing ming(1st week April) where no reno and house shifting is allowed according to our FS master...Must settle the reno and move in by end of march... Our 1st appt mid of January and our agent told us most likely will get our keys during 1st week March. Hi min2118, will try contact them when i got my floor plan in mid of January. Thanks alot

Do you know how many days does we need to get the permit from HDB for hacking of floor and wall tiles? I m confused cos heard different answers in the forum. Some says 3 days and some says 2 weeks???? Please enlighten.....Thanks

hi all, I ve just bought a 30 years 3NG unit at amk...1st appt mid of Jan next year.... May i know is 3 weeks enough for a 3 room overhaul? 1. Hack all floor and wall tiles for toilet and kitchen, 2. Overlay laminate for living and bedroom, 3. Custom made 2 full height wardrobe for master and guest room. 4. Tear down & remove the existing old kitchen cabinet and wardrobes in the 2 bedrooms. 5. Plaster whole house wall and ceiling, rewiring electricity, painting etc...etc.... pls advise....thanks...
