Thanks, I did. But their prices were way too high for what I can afford. Saw a rug that I liked from their Heavenly Collection but the size was wrong. I think it's 6ft by 8ft. Need one that's 9ft x 12 ft. They said that they could have it made to those specifications but it would cost abt 10k. silk no doubt, but 10k for a rug that i'm going to step on every day?! I've since found this other company called The Rug Maker which can do it for much less and I can create the design myself. It takes abt 6-8 weeks and should be ready by 3rd week of Nov. Hope it turns out the way I want.

Hey, if Peter Lim can flush 320 million pounds down the sorry end of merseyside, I see nothing wrong with flushing $20 worth of toilet paper down the bowl.

The sales person at the Kaki Bkt branch where i went to 2 weeks ago mentioned that the items at pandan are cheaper. He said that branch carries a number of items that may have slight defects, often times hardly noticeable though, and can be had for much cheaper. Was just at the XZQT store at ION earlier this evening and the price of the Odyssey is actually abt 5k (table only)and thats after 25% off. they do have another model whcih is equally nice. I dont remember the name of it, but its rectangular with a black glass top and walnut edges and legs. Also very chic but it's not collapsible. The lady at the shop did say they come in 160cm length and 180cm length. The sales person's name is Christine. very helpful and not at all pushy, which I really appreciated. I might check out the pandan branch to see they have any good deals.

Yes, they have a set that I really like. I think it's called the Odyssey. The table costs more than 4k, not including chairs. You'll have to add another 2k approx for the chairs.

Beware Of Furniture Club @ Imm ( Realy Dishonest Sales Method)

Kudos to you FC for demonstrating great customer service and sound common sense ( a frequently rare commodity in the retail business) By the way, I too am the happy, and now even prouder, owner of two pieces of kelvin Giormani furniture which I bought in May. -
Thanks. This is really helpful.

Beware Of Furniture Club @ Imm ( Realy Dishonest Sales Method)

You know, Jerry, there's a really simple solution to this entire affair and one that would benefit both parties. In the process it would allow your company the opportunity to win over potential customers by demonstrating magnanimty and excellent after sales service. From a PR perspective, the approach you've taken thus far, I believe, is not a good one and will do your company's reputation more damage than good. Obviously there' s been a misunderstanding between your salesperson and your customer. Each feels that the other made a mistake. If you allow the exchange, your loss is probably a few hundred dollars, if even that much. But the goodwill that your coy will gain from this, will far exceed, by a thousand fold, any small loss that the product exchange will cost. Seize the opportunity that this incident is presenting..... Do the smart thing. -
Hi Does anyone know where I can buy or make a rug for my living room. Looking for something larger than what is usually sold in the lifestyle shops. Approx 10ft by 13 ft.

Another option is to use veromobi. I just dscovered it in one of the ID magazines and went to their shop a few days ago in Sungei kadut. Its a more resilient type of acrylic that they use. Guy at the shop said its 5H compared to the previous 2H. Not sure what the 'H' stands for (maybe hard) but apparenlty it's far more scratch resistant. It really is nice and comes in different colours. Says they manufacture it in korea and takes about 3-5wks to do. But if you have the time, it's worth it. Think he said each door costs about 125 dollars so its not that cheap. Good thing is it looks really classy.

I recently installed a Daikin ac 3 in 1 system and have been having some problems with it. Recently ice would form inside and around the aircon blower even thought the ac was not turned on. Apparently the compressor would still be running even tho ac was turned off. I called up the agent and they installed a ferite coil (or somehting like that). He said that the same thing had happened to siilar ac but when they installed the ferite coil, it solved the problem. Recently my electricity bill came up to 350. Thot it quite high since I live alone and only use the ac at night when sleeping. Made me wonder if my compressor may still be running while ac is turned off. Have just begun to turn off the main ac switch to monitor my electricity charges. Have noticed however that when I turn on the main power switch next to the compressor, it makes a strange noise for about three seconds. I was wondering if that might be a sign that the compressor start to operate when the main is turned on even tho the ac blower is powered off. Has anyone got any idea whats going on?
