Hi all! Would like to say that we finally decided to get the leather sofa from LUSH and the service was very good and professional! The sofa arrived within 8 weeks as promised and the delivery people were very friendly and accommodating too! We are glad to announce that the leather did not feel hot and clammy as we had feared. Instead, the calf leather is really soft and cooling to the skin! Unlike our previous "micro fibre" piece, the leather cover kinda adjust to our body temperature and feels very......well, I can't find a more appropriate word than "cooling"!! We're really glad we went for a leather piece afterall! And can I just add that the smell of brand new leather is simply heavenly!!!

Heh! Nobody wanna reply but I thought I should make known that the leather sofa we ordered from LUSH came within 8 weeks as promised and we've been enjoying it very much! Hey guys, I'm very interested in getting a leather sofa from Lush. Was assured by Fadzli that it's GENUINE Top-Grade Calf leather. However, I'm just wondering how reliable is that because, frankly, I wouldn't know the difference between Top-grade and any other grades?!! The price quoted seems really GOOD for a genuine leather sofa so I'm partly tempted but partly scepticle also.....sigh.....everyone here seems to have quite good things to say about them though! Any comments from anyone?

Koda was having their annual warehouse sale @ Defu Lane 4. But not sure if it's still on? They have chairs similar to the pics you showed......and more! Some really nice ones were going for about $60/- each only! There were many nice expensive looking dining tables going for less than $500/- each. I felt it was a very good bargain but I didn't need a new dining set (was actually looking for a sofa!) Koda is actually a really BIG furniture company that supply furniture to European and American market. They don't usually do direct sales to end-users but every year they'll have a warehouse sales locally to get rid of show pieces and discontinued items. So shd be at least okay quality ba! Guys, I'm new here. This is an interesting topic and especially relevant for me! My fabric sofa cover recently ripped and the seat cushion/foam has been getting really saggy. So I thought it's probably a great time to shop for a new sofa. Searched a few shops mentioned in this post and have more or less decided to get a leather sofa this time round as we are expecting our 1st baby come Jan 09 and thought leather will be better able to withstand the oncoming abuse! We are prepared to spend 2.5K but seriously wondering if this budget is enough to get us a GENUINE leather sofa? We actually have our eyes set on a calf-hide sofa that we saw at LUSH in Balestier area. It's priced at 3K odd but with OCBC credit card, there's a 35% discount so quite attractive lor! Only thing is, how do we know if it's REALLY genuine leather? So far there's only the sales assistance word that it is. He even assured me it's TOP GRADE leather! I kinda find it hard to believe that TOP GRADE Aniline leather can be THIS cheap? (Sigh...too expensive, we complain! Too cheap, we suspect something wrong!!! ) The reason why we so concerned is because we are kinda scared by some of the comments here about Non-genuine leather being hot and sweaty to the skin. Dun wanna spend a few thousand bucks only to be uncomfortable and end up sitting on the floor! Be really glad for any comments or advice from the community here! Thanks guys!
