Yup it did...we had made the rite decision when hacking the wall...now waiting for the whole place to be done up soon...

Access Area Tiling Ceiling Fan Switches

Up to date...painting is 100% completed except for the access area...Love the colours...pastel colours...Lights & Fan r up too..except for the L-box lites and the access area lite...Electrical Switches all done up as well... Access area tiles r also done up...Like the design...(Initially wanted the pebble wash more...but decided against it as it will wear off with frequent wash..)..But still the end result is good.. Internal Doors are changed...Didn't take any pic until the touch up work r done.. On Sunday..went to Poh Joo to buy the toilet bowls...washing basins...sink..toiletries stuff (mirrors....the towel racks...n etc..etc..) Spent $$$ but still within our budget... Reno update as at 27.04.09: All tiling works is completed except for the laminate flooring in the rooms....Pipings all done up as well..Met up with ID to mark the power point for the electrical works...Also bought all lights for the whole house...Ceiling fan & the instant heater...$$$...Now waiting for the painting to commence this week...The progress of work is smooth flowing and on schedule... Plastering work completion for Living, Dining & Kitchen Area Plastering work completion for Common Room Plastering work completion for Master Room Tiling Work for Steps - Completed

Kitchen overhaul is also completed...all tiling is done...we have opted out to do the wall tiling cos the $$...kitchen, washing base is also done..except for the fridge base...which will be done later...Windows for the kitchen will be change to the sliding one..We also got the new chute... Kitchen overhaul (Complete) Cabinet Base in Kitchen New windows for the master room As for now...all tiling work has been completed...plastering should be done by these 2 days...will be going down to our new abode soon...to see the work done so far...now waiting anxiously for the whole process to complete...New home here we come...

Hacking of floor tiles had been completed so far...The wall between the living and the kitchen had been hacked too..For both bedrooms we have decided to overlay laminate flooring (save $$$)..At the moment the flooring tiles is still being laid and yet to complete.. This pic is taken on 3rd day of reno: Will upload others soon...Life has been ver busy so far...with the current reno and Sis wedding is up next mth too at the same time when reno complete...Wat a rush...

I think my T-blog has gone to sleep for a long time....After alot of ho...ha...and many many more...our reno has started since 01/04/2009...Everything is so far on schedule...But we have cut alot of things to save cost...it has been difficult to get reno loan nowadays...so we have decided to cut back on some cost and do those unnecessary ones at a later part...as long as the necessity is there...we will make do...;-) 1st start...Current condition of the house:

Well m reno has not started...everything is delayed..onli getting the keys in end of March...Quite upsetting as things didn't go as plan...Yup I have engaged an ID...now waiting till I get my keys...and also applying for the reno loan...might make some changes to the revamp of the house...will go on tighter budget as with this year recession ...alot of things can happen...scary...Will hope for the best... U can try Ah Soon, Ideal House, Gplan, Darwin, U-home...this r a few we approach n confirm one of them...Hope u will have a smooth ride with the quotes..it's kinda of confusing so many uotes..different prices..Phew... Hopefully in April..cos we onli getting the keys next end mth...

We have been pretty quiet lately...cos of all the packing of our current home...Last day will be on 7/2/09...Sob!! Sob!!..
