aubrey, for the windows be it naco or nato (i also blur), mine can be done as the windows are all within my premise when it is opened outwards. unless u stay on the top floor, else u need those windows with panes else HDB may not approve as they are afraid that people will throw things from the higher floor from that small window and break the glass...it'll end up hurting anyone passing by from the ground floor.

U are right...Jason buay tahan already. When I called him 2 nights back to meet him for the carpentry drawings, I told him it's PH on saturday, he sure he wana meet me, dun wana rest? He said he dun dare to rest...so many projects, if he snake a bit all others delay. Poor him, only requested to let him sleep in later. preciousjam, the window is ok de...the original window from HDB is also nato window Pet, the chute will stillbe there, just erect a box with cement and a door to box up that area so that we don't see the chute there i scared got roaches...so i'm gonna put insecticide and those things that will get ride of such pests! i still prefer a step for that area tho i do not wash that area "flood style"...but since its done, i will not ask them to hack and re-lay lah.

ever once i waited at pasir ris for him upon his request as we need to go thru the tiles...he was 1hr late. Hubby kept nagging and it really irritates me lor. but heng uncle turned up after i chased him thrice...flewto pasir ris after work and if he fly me aeroplane, i'll really be upset.

Gaku, hacking generally takes 3 days. Mine did... Somehow I will not get upset with Uncle when he fly me aeroplanes or late for his appointments. Hubby trusted Uncle in the kinda works he delivers for the price we pay. I agree that IDs may not even have 80% of uncle's standard and their prices might not be cheaper (can see from lawry's experience).

actually i was deciding between my friend (ID) & Uncle. But uncle is the one we task the job to because he is very sincere... remind Uncle again if he doesn't call you. Base on experience, he'll soon forget as he receives too many calls everyday

the nato windows are up! to look more consistent, I opted white frames with tea color glass They started tiling the hall...my approval not down yet and this HDB officersput me all over the globe when I simply asked for the relevant person to speak to regarding my approval!!! And the officer in charge simply didn't call me back!!! Is this the service standard? Received those SMS-es to rate the service...Very BAD!!! The other part of the balcony... the hall tiling started... Uncle made a decision for me to sorta level the kitchen-balcony areawhich is NOT my intention at all!!!!

I agree with Pet, can get quote from Yeak too. In the meantime, u need to keep calling uncle to remind him. That's what I did...
