seems on track, but they need 3 weeks to finish off carpentry works. I am hoping that by 8 June HO, but Ah Wei says he can finish of his carpentry by then, rectifications still need some time tho'. Latest I can give them is HO by 10 June so that I can wash up and let my stuff be delivered. 13 Hune all my other furnitures will be delivered.

Saturday, 2 workers (ah kiat and a chinese man). They were doing the pebble wash flooring at 3 areas namely, foyer, outside 2 level 2 bathrooms. This job is confirm completing on the day itself and Uncle says, Monday shall be the day for patching and polishing my parquet flooring. After that, painting... As for carpentry, met up with Ah Wei again and finish off whatever outstanding. added a small bookshelf for the kids books and mine, the shelve will not be enough, better than none actually. added on a 2metre studay table that is behind the altar. THe cornices in 2 common rooms were up, one of it, the mesurement is wrong, and needs to be changed. False ceilings all ok, the partition dividing the study area and altar is up, albeit the length of the partition is way too short. Ah Wei already feedback to Jason before I pop by. Carpentry has started fabrication, hopefully I can see something at least a week later...gonna pop by and see if the cover up my floor properly as guaranteed by Uncle.

eeks! I specifically reminded Jason when we met last sunday. I told him I can let the guys use my L1 common toilet, NOT the 2 upstairs!!! AND tolong tolong tell the workers not to throw/pour sand, cement or whatever in there!!! Else I will request them to replace if they can't remove during HO.

Gaku, same advise, go thru with jason so that he knows what you have in mind, but request to go thru the finalised details with the carpenter to minimise errors. Messages can be loss along the way... If u remember I ever mentioned, I am glad that inform Ah wei as there are things Jason added in w/o my knowledge, and info missing when he spoke to Ah wei. But the added thing is ok lah...he added 1ft more to my 2 common room wardrobes.

I agree with blue, call uncle at least let him know the current situation about aircon and about the HO. The workers are afraid of him.

Gaku, I think you have no choice but to ask Jason who will be doing the carpentry for you! my preogress speeds up suddenly. keeping my fingers crossed on the whole thing. Cheer up ok? It's friday. bear with it for a while more and it will soon be over! I am prepared to go lay the floors with Hubby on Sunday if it is still not done. booy and smartie did that. Ask them to give you a schedule, elect works and plumbing can go on concurrently. If you are doing false ceilings, ask if they can also be done together. this will minimise lotsa time wastage. Uncle has limited good workers and they are over stretched. I can tell uncle to stop mine for a few days if need be, provided if we are using the came batch of workers.

Gaku, I think better for you to to move in only when everything's ready/. Rental wise, I can't help much, but all I can say is, the delays are quite inevitable. Sigh...imagine my supposed HO is next weekend, but till now, flooring will only be done by today? Cheer up! Uncle's guys needs to be pushed a little. He pushed them and as of yesterday, I saw lesser rubbish at my place. I am hoping that they really lay the protection for my floorings too...else I will start chasing Uncle.
