i agree with Angel. Why not you view the place and see the condition first? Even at pasir ris near MRT, sea view...at least selling more than 500K and some even selling at 600K and COV is like 40 -60K. the worth of the house also depends on the feel it gives you. If u pay higher COV but needs minimal or no reno, then it should be quite a gd deal. many factors to consider actually.

u face a problem that another forummer shared with me...but his is resolved If they are going to pay u rental and you are not in a hurry to reno, let them stay for another month and earn your rightful. If they are not paying rental to you, just ask your contractor to start work after the 2nd appt! They have no rights to hog on to the place leh... If they need to extend their stay, they should have discussed with u long ago and not now.

I made arrangement with City-gas to turn on the supply few days ago. Was told that my appointment will only be tomorrow at noon. Yesterday, Hubby told me, there was this black guy who came, claiming to turn on our gas but did not have any proof of job, neither is he in uniform nor was he able to tell them which company he was from. Since I told them the appointment is on Friday, they turned the dubious guy away. I simply couldn’t believe what I heard, called City-gas just now to confirm. They confirmed that NO ONE WAS APPOINTED THE JOB TO MY PLACE YESTERDAY!!! It is only TOMORROW and NOT ANY EARLIER!!! The usual practise is that the guy coming down will give the owner a call an hour before they reach> I did not receive any calls yesterday from anyone about turning on my gas supply. Thank goodness both Mom and Hubby were cautious enough to turn that guy away! Phew!!! Please folks, this serves as a warning…do not open the door to any stranger who cannot proof their identity for any job to be done!

no lah...officially shifted only on tuesday. I really love the feel of EM...cannot describe, but it's simply heavens! haha... my SIL commented just like terrace living in HDB tiring part is the chores. yesterday went back to clean and mop, tiring, but feels great! at least more things unpacked and we are more or less settled. anyone with square balcony to share on how u actually plan for your laundry area? I did mine, but after using i find that it is not as well planned as i thought.

i should have tested my tiles earlier...mine is black with some shimmer when wet. it's not slippery but really good to know elder sayang this little princess and willing to go the extra mile for u! lucky u leh!!!

I was tempted to get that decal too! However, I don't know where to put it as the wall leading to 2nd floor i intend to do a photowall at a later date when we took our family pictures after my little boy can walk. guy77, read that your parquet also matt...u like it? hehe...mine i retained the existing flooring, only got uncle to polish and varnish.
