i initially wanted to do plastering for my house 154sqm. But the walls were pretty even and i got the contractor to have a look at it...he advised against plastering as it is quite costly. He will plaster for me FOC on the places that are uneven, with holes etc...Hubby wanted nice smooth walls actually...so do I after visitng some others who does plastering. If ur contractor mentioned that he is gonna help u plaster the uneven walls and holes, I think u can save that $1600 Hope this helps.

u should have requested for a train track for ur bookshelf, and at the same time, tell ah wei it is meant for book and that the shelves should be real sturdy. Having said that, it still looks fine I had lotsa big heavy book in my previous house and bought those cheapo bookshelf from those neighbourhood furniture shop...they were made of chipboard and still lasted me a good 5 yrs the TV console u can consider adding anything after all the TV and appliance u have goes up. It will fill up the space and by then I think it will not look too bare already. the doufu drawer...*sob sob* i forgot to tell ah wei that I wanted glass top for that and mine was not Oh yes, forgot to ask, what time is the open house? I also wana pop by if i can make it...

HN bedframes are coming on friday. In case you thought they called, no...I asked Hubby to called them instead!

plus with very urgent jobs that involves masonry causes more hollow tiles problems too. i gave them ample time for masonry works at least less than 5 hollow tiles were found.
