i would prefer a solid top with or not much cooking. It gives an overall finished look. Or do u intend to do those postform type? if the intention of staying in this current house is not too many years...u can leave the reno minimal and even w/o solid top. else i would suggest u consider to get it done if it's within budget.

i can fully empathise with u Ivy...like I sms-ed u when my stuff were not done timely during the HO week and kept lamenting on the delays etc...I was also on the verge of crying...but i held back lor. Don't feel sad...kitchen can wash? go wash kitchen 1st...MBR can clean? go clean it first. do whatever u can ya...

ok lah...i got Hubby to call him after that incident...but i like the technician who is doing my trunking. He is good leh...value add and discussing with uncle on how best to run the trunking.

yup...also from him but i ever called him and scolded him. See lah, i always call and scold ppl...haiz. he promised to come back regarding my installation date then never called back, and was told he was off that day itself. how irresponsible. but luckily the lady at the main office very nice, settled for me...that is y i do not have very good impression of Andy after that incident.

DVD more flexi...so u ike Ron Ng as a whole or like his character as Chung Lap Mun? actually i still love tung sum fong bo both parts...so missing them. I even dl on Hubby's PSP and watched them to and fro work, lunch time, dinner time, bedtime...can u imagine how hooked i was?

I heard about EU...my sis is watching leh. whenever i dl from tudou hor, buy the time i wana watch or started watching, my gal will start asking me this and that...then son wana climb up and down...i can't sit there and watch de. so i am gonna buy DVDs and watch as and when I am free!

I watched a few episodes while I was in HK, didn't manage to watch too much...I wana catch them on tudou!!! but once i start, very difficult to stop de Ivy, u are just few years, my senior, still younger than Brian leh. I say makes me feel old...u young at heart lah!! I am shildish at heart, cos fairy tales i still stick to those princessy cartoons like Cinderella lah, Beauty and the Beast lah...

rierie, i realised that watermarks may not be caused by detergent soley, it is actually the mop. There were designs on my homo tiles in my 1st house, we used the normal type of mop and there will still be watermarks irregardless of what sort of detergent I use. Few days after we shifted to our new pad, my Mom got a mop set (with a pail) and it can help really wring the mop really dry...and I love my homo tiles w/o obvious traces of watermarks *I do not earn commission for this ya* I can't load the pics yet..office doesn't allow flash player let me see if i have other alternatives.

hmm...rierie, for my case, it didn't help...even to the day i sell my house away after 5yrs, the crack is still there, mended many times. I think due to the movement and vibrations, such cracks might appear again after a while?
