  5. I came across the Rinnai Katana hood with the glass top hob for $1199, is this a good deal? Anyone using the Katana hood? Is the suction enough for asian cooking?

  15. went twice to the branch at Loyang to view the package. Don't really like the sofa (but u'll have to go there to view and decide for yourself. For me and my wife, we don't like the sofa or rather it's not what we are looking for but the package gave a good deal for the matress frame and nice coffee table (upgradable to mattress if don't want coffee table, very comfy matress). Love the mattress a lot. Look for Pearly, very good service. She even allow us to do upgrades to items we want. Sad didn't manage to get anything from her the 1st time but brought my cousin back again on Monday and she bought a few stuffs from her, not from the 2K package though. She spent 4K + for mattress and frame, sofa and a dining table. Got free pillows and table runner and some extra discounts...
  16. have told my ID we'll keep our wall between the kitchen and service balcony...
  17. hmm.. that might be a problem cause we are building a breakfast table (half length) between the kictchen and living and need the service balcony wall to be down so that the whole place look more bigger... have to relook into our design and see what can be done... any other options beside solid wall between kitchen and service balcony?
  18. if that's the case, if i build a glass door / or put curtain to replace the wall, will it make a different?
  19. not sure if i need to get a fengshui master to check it out or not. my parent not really into fengshui stuffs and very much against us spending the money to hire one... That's why i wanted to find out just the basic things like what you showed above to see if my things are in the "right" place...
  20. they are on a divorce case.. The whole house is coutry style reno. a bit dark inside. i'm going to take down the wall between the kitchen and living as well as the wall between the kitchen and service balcony. should be moving in end of march or beginning of april. will be renovating almost the whole house... don't think have any "water" feature cause they are not chinese. i will be removing the balcony wall as well. more open concept... and my theme is bright warm so most of the wall are in white...
  21. Just for sharing. For those who are interested to buy electronic item during non-warehouse sale, should check out Harvey Norman at Tampines mart. I'm staying at st 33 and have been buying stuffs from there quite often. They don't do advertisement cause they are cheaper than the rest of the Harvey norman branch. I'm not a sale person there, just a resident nearby sharing lobang...hehehe. i.e. i found the price for the aircond was $100 - $150 cheaper compare to other branches...
  22. this should be how my house look like if north is directly straight up floor plan 2
