Beng Fong Renovation

Goh Kwi Hock a.k.a Ah Soon. He never came back to do any rectifications. What is the company name found on the approval permit outside your flat? Maybe you would also like to ask him why he changed his name it would be interesting to hear what story he tell. -

This Jason of Beng Fong is also one of his brothers. He got a few brothers. Which company letterhead did he use for your quotation? Fu Hua or Beng Fong? -

Yes. He got a short haircut and also look slimmer when I quarreled with him few weeks back. I think this is already his second or third name change already. Anyway, the paint works in my flat already started to peel, cracks also appearing on some false ceiling joints, some of the plaster from the wall falling off and uneven tiling. My renovation "ended" in May with lots of rectification needed but he never came back. All in all, his quality sucks big time! BTW, he got no HDB license and he is simply bochap on application of permits for certain works requiring HDB approval. -

This Ah Soon character had already changed his name and Ah Zhong could be his new name. Anyway, his real name is Goh Kwi Hock. Refer to the picture found on Aubrey'st-blog, http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?s=...st&p=390849 The one on the left wearing a short sleeve button shirt with vertical stripe is "Ah Soon" . Jessln's blog, Ah Soon "Ah Soon" in stripe shirt, shorts and spectacles. -

Haha! He is pulling off the same trick again by changing name! Last time got no internet so he can get away easily by using a new name. Anyway, this is not the first time he cheated other sub-con and people's money. Do some background check on him and all will be revealed. FYI, Ah Soon is not his real name and neither does it make up any part of his real name. He got another "family" in Batam that's why always go there on weekends. Apparently his weekend "shootings" in Batam failed to relief his raging testerones so he frequents those "music lounges" and bought lots of "flower garlands" for those PRC "singers". What a horny old man! My advice to all those who still pinning hopes on him is to either engage another contract or make a police report. -

He can't run from this, http://askiras.iras.gov.sg/ESVPortal/conta...ntaxevasion.asp The number of renovation projects he do every year is already worth more than $1 million but Fu Hua is still a sole proprietorship?? -
I think can still make a police report but the victims must be very firm and insist on lodging the report as the officer will probably try to dissuade the victims from lodging the report by telling them lots of crap based on my experience. I think it would be good if all victims can go lodge a report to let the police know the amount of money his had taken. This case might be classified under CBT or cheating. By not running doesn't make him innocent it's whether he have the intention to cheat in the first place which matters most. If want to delay or don't do then return the money or else it's as good as cheating. Anyway, please do not pin your hopes on him coming back to finish up the outstanding projects this is just another cycle for him. BTW, do not believe any of his sob stories anymore! It's all just a pack of lies! He is good at playing the emotion card.

Hi, Can I have the contractor's contact?? Many thanks!
-
Anybody know where I can buy tiling grouts and wall plaster? I need both white and black grout. Are they also sold in 50KG sacks like cement?
-
thanks for the suggestion but i think they don't have what i'm looking for. i need wood of bigger sizes or cut to my requirement. Ikea probably not, they use mainly chipboard which will warp if the load is heavy.
-
Anybody know where I can buy laminate for wood and wood for making shelves in small quantity? I would like to re-laminate a wardrobe I got during a warehouse sale and maybe add on a few shelves to it.
-
Can let me know which part of Woodlands are the laminate suppliers located at?

Block 10 Chai Chee Road Worth Buying?
12digit replied to henhen's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
i bought my unit at valuation about 7mths back. i could have gotten it for below below valuation if i waited for a couple more months but since we need to concentrate on our running business we decided not to wait and bought the unit at valuation. my sister got her unit at below valuation earlier this year high floor, corner and unblocked view. her friends also got their flats at or below valuation between late 2008 and earlier this year. btw, all of our flats are located in the east too. my advice to you is to do your homework and take agents words with a big pinch of salt. -

hi ncy, Ah Soon did share with wife and me some of his history in the industry. the license used to renovate rock's place was actually a partnership between ah soon and his other partners but he decided to close it down after discovering frequent inconsistency in the accounts(dishonest partners). i think he started on his own(Fu Hwa) last year. As for the license, HDB only allow contractors to apply for a HDB license, 1. after 3 years in the renovation business with no blemishes in the company records 2. have at least 5 completed projects worth at least $50000 i think one of the reasons why he didn't or couldn't apply for the license is because he don't fulfill the requirement in point 1. -
can provide us with more information like whether we need transformers to use the LED lamps and pricing?
-
I just called and check with one of the technician, he said a transformer is need to run the LED MR16 bulbs. i wonder if there are any LED MR16 bulbs with built in transformer in the market.
-
thanks for your reply four13r ! i found cheaper MR16 LED bulbs at Sim Lim tower i think e shop is located on the third floor and price quoted is between $24-26 if i remember correctly. i need to find the namecard given by the shop's boss to check with him.
-
Do we need a 12v transformer to use those MR16 LED bulbs or we just install the bulb directly into the MR16 housing?
-
To be honest, my patience is already wearing thin with the way things are going. First, they use the wrong tiles and now say electrical works not included! Maybe, I should insist they install the correct tiles no matter what!

I never had good experience with Propnex agents, unprofessional, dishonest and never act for the clients benefit. DIY is faster than dealing with them

Hahaha!! What a load of crap by the salesperson! How different are "Asia clothing" compared to "Europe or American clothing"? I have never heard of such clothing terms or categorization in the garment manufacturing industry. I'm in the garment manufacturing business by the way. Reminds me of the European/US/Asia sizing rubbish I hear from consumers in the store.
