New updates! Yesterday my hardworking hubby pasted the decals on the blank wall, in front of the dinning table. Here it is. It definitely adds some colour to the boring wall now.

LOL, so we got the same good taste lor. actually intially think white is very nice for my kitchen cabinets, but after much consideration, i have to give it up, becoz for kitchen meh....anyway, u sure got a great idea for the swivel tv part! i like it a lot. how much is your tv feature wall? looks great!

We're really pleased with the grout lines final results as really sweat like ****. ya, this time round, I think we really planned our reno and we're also lucky that we only need min. reno which is the reason y we shortlisted this unit. We have gone thru actual reno once and we really dun wish to repeat our mistakes again. Our last reno was a major overhaul which not only exhausted our saving but we even took a reno loan. The past 3.5 yrs was living **** for us and the only way to slightly (yes slightly and not able to totally) overcome the situation was to sell our EM. We told ourselves that we would not take a reno loan for this new place and we would just get whatever is necessary first. Wanted to custom made the rooms wardrobes but we cant afford it. So we bought from hdb furniture shops and took over 2 wardrobes left by sellers. If its 3.5yrs ago, we would definitely had thrown away the wardrobes and tv cabinets left by the sellers even if it was close to 10/10 condition. Now, we're smarter as we 'fell' before. Life is really unpredictable and we had gone thru it and still in the process of getting out of it. We are trying our best to move on but its not easy as hubby yet to find a stable job. We're so thankful to have our parents helping us but we cant always burden them with our financial problems. We're still looking out for the light at the end of the tunnel and praying hard everyday. "To be happy, it doesnt mean everything has to be perfect". Yeah, you really learn it the hard way, and thru your previous bad experience. As for me also wanted a WIW or custom made wardrobes, but i cannot afford so i also went for the neighbour furniture shop to source for a ready made one. I also pray for you, that your hubby can get a stable job okie. As the chinese saying, when the boat reaches dock, everything will be straight. Althought you are poor, but you are still happy

wow, count your blessings that you have got mummy's love & money! haha but indeed 4 me, having gone thru, ROM, wedding dinner cum reno. all costs money. wedding really costs a bomb! lucky you. and including can go bk home to eat dinner nx time

Actually, this is my favourite I always wanted to get 2.5 - 3 seater kind of sofa but my hubby loves L-shaped. To my surprise he could accept it and while sitting there he oredi felt at home! He likes the generous armrest allowance and the uber comfortable goose feather back cushions. I like it coz this size of sofa fits best in our longish, narrow room. Somehow it acts as a 'divider' from our dining area, and also the whole look of the room will feel spacious. The fabric we chose for the frame is a golden brown (something like lion's mane, it 'reflects' under light), a deeper brown for 2 cushions, a gold based floral design for another 2 and 1 more gold (exact in the pic). Flexible delivery service (unlike Ikea ), they allow us to hold the delivery for 3 months, and we could choose the day and time slot too! Delivery charge at $30 for weekdays and $40 on Sats. Okay..... 1 thing down, 2 more to go ! Love your sofa choice! just fyi, if you are Courts Member, you can even get a 50% discount on your delivery! that's wat i did when i ordered my sofa,recliner & TV from them too. but there are few different outsourced delivery guys and their standards varies, so be very careful, and check for scratches or other stuff when they deliver it to your hse! becos i have heard actually quite a no of complaints rgd their delivery guys too, but i'm very heng becos the delivery guys which i got are quite good.
