my carpenter say a suspended study table without 2 side support approx is $100pfr wor...but if just a standard straight table with drawers there is not much design you can go for leh... PM me if you are interested for his contact..he is the Mr kok wel talk by most forumer..

you can get a carpenter to help you..tink need to take ou t the old top,then they will put a new plywood top, then they can get the granite ppl to do for you, then the plumber

the carpenter takes ard 4 days to fab if ur design not complicated., install 1 day complete. .then depends on your table top is the normal type or tos granite /solid surface, top takes another 3-5 daysto install upon measurement of your kitchen top.

wiw got pros and cons lor... like my case my mother always open the wardrobe door for ventilation, so no no point have a door .. but true enough will have abit dust if not enclosed..if yours is near toilet there then will be a bit mouldy like my aunt's house, so she buy a dehymifier??

dont need lar...think just need to cut off the old and rerun..but if you have kitchen cabinets, unless you dont mind got water pipe outside the cabinet. but if yours is tos concealed type..then may need to see all tos pipe outside lor..

foul smell norm from floor trap or wc drainage... foul smell are from all tos "waste" that flush down to the inspection chamber downstairs.. the smell norm will get pass the vent pipe then to top of HDB flat and out they go..if your hse smells, then might from the floor trap, try flushing water inside... or from wc, not enought water coverage at theU-trap so gas escape from there...
