  2. Hi, trees:

Do you still have the contact of yr kitchen cabinet factory carpenter that you mentioned in the renotalk forum ? Kindly pm me.

    Tks & cheers

  3. if your drawers is those black colour full extension type, you must buy back the same but with soft closing , then the exisiting old drawers can use back. but you may need a carpenter to help you remove and install. but if you are refering the blum type, then most cases you have to redo the drawer again as the allowance given is different.

In most generally, ID firms are not really expensive on their reno prices, but their VOs and carpentry really really knife cutting... that is where reno forum comes in where alot of forumers benefits from getting direct carpentry factory prices. maybe you nego with your designer again?? if some of them is a vo items, you may want to re-consider engaging direct carpenter you can find in this forum.. there are alot good ones here.
  5. there is pros and cons on both plywood and blockboard..was told plywwod is heavy and may have wopping problems, so most carpenter prefer blockboard..you can ask the carpenter what type of wood they are using. generally, you must take care the cabinet and it will last you quite a while, especially the sink area.
  6. try contact Mr Kok 97680883 / perlyn 90080883
  7. it all depends on how you used you wardrobe. personaly i dont like pole system as it got gaps at side, restriction on things that i want to have. So i customised my wadrobe with drawers and shelving to my liking. but if you compare pole system with sliding door and customised wardrobe, the price for wardrobe is cheaper ( of course you have to get a direct carpenter to do). cheers
  8. u wana add in a pic to show?? dont realy understand what you mean. you mean they stick the glass outside the door, not level with the top and bottom??
  9. i think my carpenter quote me cresto ard $70-$75 pfr.. solid surface need take care if you choose a dark color lar, will scratch. quality wise ok abit regret, should have opt for granite top though.. if your table top length not too long, the diff between solid surface and granite top is not alot. if you are a heavy user, granite still a better option, "my opinion" only
  10. quite easy to maintain, just that it got those patches need to polish once a while..can try those tempered glass type. mine using tempered glass backing
