I also very hand itchy to buy the house stuff now, so many sales! Just went to Nan Wah and the 1-pc WC is selling at freaking cheap! <$200 i think.. argh. But its still so long to keys handover for me... now cannot buy clothes cos must save money, so turn to spending money on house stuff to satisfy my shopping needs.

i've been sleeping on the same Seahorse mattress i bought 13yrs ago, and its still strong n firm. Personally feel its value for money. Ultimately its personal preference, i don't like those tempur kind with sleep memory, so i'll still go for Seahorse for my next purchase.

hi all! i'm a little confused, is Tau an ID or contractor? Uncle winson cannot design, so will pass to Kelvin to design while he coordinate or..? I passed by their shop by chance a few days back when i went to see doc, didnt even realise they were so near my house. Can anyone PM me Uncle winson or kelvin's num? my budget is tight, hopefully their quotation is not too like what most of the IDs quoted me.

Ya, i went down to their office yday! I'm amazed, off hand the price that i was quoted was already way way lesser than ALL the ID firms! Even the cheapest ID firm i met w yday was a gd 7k diff!! But their carpentry finishing like not very nice leh.. tts wat making me n FH in quite a hard situation to decide. How's ur carpentry finishing? April said u gave her and the aircon company a lot of biz!! actually i must admit the black/red/white combi is nice. But pple say kitchen cannot have too much red, else w v easily quarrel.. so better not. Cos i'm always screaming at my FH..

ya.. whole house is broken marble... even the storeroom. suspect the 1st owner was a typical chinese going for quality stuff... thou all in the 90's fashion. 2nd owner didn't even officially shift in... tts y u see the house is so empty. Not gonna touch the living/bedroom floor.. still quite ok to go w our minimalist deco. So will only be doing polishing. Save $$ more impt... the $ for flooring can buy me my bed liao!

Got... me n FH lor. Haha! Just now over dinner he still saying dunno how, scare budget too tight cannot buy dinning table 1st, then living room very empty will be ugly. My mum also say build the new kitchen cabinet over the solid thing. But the base stretches all the way to the service balcony as the washing machine base. So its not here not there, we decided just heck it.. tear the whole thing away lah. Jokingly told my mum if she like i'll try to ask them to keep it and shift it to put in her house instead. Toilet ah.. wait till u see those tiles behind the door. Lagi worse.

i love ur pink room! U have the color code for the paint? I was begging and begging FH for ONE of the wall in the WIW room to be pink. He say ok lor, the one behind the door, which is ALMOST 100% blocked by the wardrobe liao After much persuasion, finally i managed to nego for a pink WIW room and a hello kitty corner.

actually i was thinking its a bit too fast to find a house within 2 days of viewing.
