Finally 2nd appt! I shd have taken full day leave and 'prepare' myself for the day. Was so tired from the early morn n rushed down to HDB in mid aftn to settle the handover, drove back to house to do the 'house opening ritual', waited another 2 hrs for the house to 'settle', went back to the house n spent another 2hrs sorting out the HUGE bag of keys, i'm totally drained now. Finally, i can take as much pics as i want to! Living rm from a diff angle Full view of kitchen MBR (realised its much smaller than my impression ) Bedroom 2 (w a 'free' wardrobe from seller ) Bedroom 3 I noticed my seller actually took down all the light covers in the bedrooms n left them on the floor. What's with him? the house is so dusty i have the urge to start cleaning up to make myself feel better, but that would be silly! Now, its time to really to settle on my contractor soon!

just went up to the house b4 dinner for the final inspection. The very empty house suddenly filled with SOOOO many things! he stored like a thousand items in the store rm, baby walker, stroller.. etc. I din even realised that he had kids. He gave us the excuse that he only got the letter from HDB on thurs, town council only help to remove junk on tue/thur evening, he got no advance notice that he needs to clear by next mon... etc. I overheard him asking my agent to ask us for extension, saying that "its only reasonable since he got the letter so late". My agent din bother to ask us further n just rejected him. we gave up talking to him. Let my dearest agent settle everything.

ur bunny has a better life than my kitties. They only got a cage to share among themselves and my mum is always chging their home from kitchen to living rm n back to kitchen. anyway, thks for showing me ur house and ur jiu-hua-cai in the hot hot weather!

He will have spare keys anyway. My agent very nice, he say dun give him spare key, but rather my agent will hold the key for us n open door for him n make sure he doesnt spoil anything. hee, i scare i fall out of the window cos my current place super windy. Plus the long bamboo w heavy load, its really dangerous lor. Sometimes my neighbours' bamboo dropped n 'hang' on my bamboos, scary! i got mine at Expo fair for $670 (GST inclusive), w ceiling brackets and s/s laundry hooks. I think the guy mentioned its avail in selected Homefix as well, but u can try calling them at their office n look for Jeff if interested. Ask for the same deal that i had! Another company we saw was Tame, who also had similar hydraulic system that can push out. But price is higher and gotta stand at the edge of the window to extend the poles. Becos its extendable, we found the poles more flimsy comparatively.

I just read ur post clear again. Ur hob+hood package is $1028, PJ gave u $200 discount so gd! I think i spoke to the same gal as u, young gal long hair w specs right? She not very sure abt hob/hood leh. Everytime gotta ask another lady. But she knows the basin n WC prices pretty well. Battery need to chge, but u wun have to take up 1 power point for the hob. i would prefer that, but also depends on how easy to chge the battery also. My seller wanted to extend for another wk to 'shift his stuff'. But if u were to go back to my 1st few posts, the house is very bare lor. I also dunno why it takes him so long to shift. Ask me to give leave a spare key for him so that he can shift his things. How can like that? Later he go in n accidentally spoil something then how? take double tube PLC lights? The shop uncle say a 13W tube gives out light abt the same as a normal 75W light. If ur floor space isnt too big i reckon it shd be sufficient. I'm also not having cove lights, i scare dust bunnies multiply in the recession.
