Good good! Was thinking of doing blinds for 2 bedrooms and day/night curtains for MBR. But i'm really lazy to chge curtains, let's see what the curtain guy tells me this Fri when he comes up for measurements. Actually if u r hardworking enough, can buy the film from DIY shops like homefix to paste urself leh. I think pasting is ok, i did it for a small panel of window in office b4. Yup, the solar film is more like privacy film. Doesnt blk out the sun totally, so the room will not be too dark even if the windows are closed. U so fast sick of the blinds already ah? I was still contemplating to take do blinds cos i dun wanna wash curtains! ugly meh? ok lah.. its just a piece of blur paper there. makes the window look like tempered glass. Gotta wait for his contacts, he's reaching home soon.

ya! i think since he's so shuang kuai, we shd be a little more lenient to him not to cut his price too horribly! hahah! anyway, Uncle's carpentry comes with anti-slam, all the doors and drawers inclusive. Jason will come n design for u, but if u do have any special requirements, can let him know so that he can accommodate accordingly. (e.g. more drawers, deep drawers or more shelving...etc)

cannot compare like that mah.. we did diff things, and i got 2 toilets Fire-rated door very ex, that's why we didnt chge the door and just repainted it instead. u have the shower bar attached already. if u noticed mine, it came as 1 set, meaning the overhead shower and the bar to hold the handshower is a shared bar. I dunno if that's what ur contractor mean? anyway if u remove this existing one, will it affect ur tiles? i wasnt charge anything leh. only charge me for WC and sink installation i think, the rest is considered 'accessories'. Shrinking is normal.. dun worry. My existing house film also shrunk after many yrs, but likewise, its not obvious until we walk closer to see. Mine also sticky, so my very splendid mum go n paste masking tape *faintz* If u putting curtains i think no need for the film for the moment? Can wait till later than do.. save a bit now. i think ah soon very nice to help out!!

See if ur solar films are 'shrinking' or not? Mine was after a gd long 12yrs, n becos i was chging some of the grills to fixed grills, will be harder to chge the film next time. I think tearing off Ah soon can help ba? but cleaning the residue wise the uncle+auntie couple who came to do mine was quite fast n pro! Urs is a new house right? i suppose HDB already did the hot water piping for u as well. If the mixer they provide comes with hot+cold then can reuse.
