Oh! can put handle ah?? No lor, the one i saw was those typical type of bi-fold doors without handles on the outside. But i would want the doors to be flat instead of having a handle. Too clumsy lah, got handle there means easier to bump into.

Uncle supposed to help me coordinate n let the aircon guy know when to get his workers in, but as usual lah, Uncle's so busy in the end it was the aircon company chasing after me n him instead. Jason told me to get them in after the plastering is completed. So that they can paint the trunking together with the walls. Fancoils will be up after the painting is done, then painters will come in again for touch ups.

cant agree more. Seems like leakage is one of the most problematic issue for aircons. But one qn, how come the trunking leaks? Usually leakages are at the fancoils? Ur toilet layout is similar to mine, i agree w the rest that chging the toilet door position shd ease the planning. Alternatively, can shift the basin inner and do a box-up style shower area? i saw that in pinkpetter's house.

Gd tip on the conceal trunking! The aircon installer had no other choice but to run the trunking into my wardrobe, but thkfully only a small portion n near the floor. Looking at ur leakage gave me the assurance that it was right not to let them run the bulk of trunking in my wardrobe!

oops! I tot the budget was set by baconporridge! Can scrap away the rockstone paint? I asked and all the IDs/contractors told me nowadays they dun do that anymore. I also had rockstone painted on every inch of the house, walls..ceiling..pipes.. even the DB box! Looking at my uneven wall now (in my old room at mum's place), i think plastering really makes a house look much better!

Yes its scary right?? I'm combining the ROM and AD together and skipping the banquet all together with a western menu buffet instead. I dread catwalking in n out of ballroom! Lightings: I bought mine at No1 Lighting @ Geylang. Cheap downlights as well and very friendly uncle will recommend lights according to our budget. DK lightings and A lightings are quite gd as well. Sanitary fitting: i think Hoe Kee is quite ex, went Poh Joo @ J.Besar and Eestilo @ Geylang. Some of the forummers also highly recommend Genova for their well-priced packages.

hmm, i've been seeing bi-fold doors at friend's place and if you try to close from outside, there will gaps lor. Cos the V-shape will not be 'flatten' unless locked from inside, i supposed. One of the reasons why i would still choose PD doors given a 2nd choice. Hope ur rectifications will be completed soon! Last mile liao, hang on!

i agree with Angel on the part with guests! I had to run after my hubby's mahjong kakis when they go toilet, cos they will be stuck at the toilet door.

dun fume dun fume, check with uncle 1st ok? Mine was blockboard, i just looked back at my reno pics after reading ur thread. But i realised even wardrobe professionals like Closet Design used blockboard for my wardrobe, n it feels very solid when knocking on it - doesnt give the hollow sound. I'm not that stringent on the material used since uncle told me "if it warps, i'll redo for u". Even the wooden kitchen door he fabricated for me is super solid n heavy. Anyway its not only the top surface holding the weight of the granite top. The internal partitions also helps to even out the weight.

Too lazy to pack my house neat neat and take pics. After reno project now its time for my wedding project. Only left with slightly more than 2 mths!
