i think you better go to case to lodge a complaint better, keep all your contract and receipts as evidence. 4 mths without any works done is too much to bear. better cut your loss now rather than to suffer more at the later stage.

Hidden cost like stuff for doing electrical, buying of toiletries, lightings, sinks, hood, basin, aircon,etc all these stuffs if you are changing.

That why lightings and toileties stuff we source ourselves without the help of our ID, this type of stuffs go to jalan besar or IMM, lots of places to source,our lighting plus our toileties added up only around 2.2k, your 8K really overspent, singapore so small. Why let the ID earns this kind of commission in the first place, just reject him will do. Btw, set him a deadline to handover your house, ask him when he can handover to you, minimum of renovation should be 3-3.5 months for that, if more than that, good luck to you, please hold whatever payment if job done not up to standard/your satisfaction.

OhMyDog i am doing real marble for my new flat only for living room. marble have 2 type, one is compressored marble, another one is real marble. My real marble cost me at 8.5k, labour cost $2.5k & polishing $700. i also have dry lay for marble, the amount i forget how much i paid, have to check back the tax invoice. So basically total added up is ard 11k. is also depend on what range of marble you are choosing, mine is $14.00 per square marble tile. Compressor marble my ID quote me 5.8k, which is cheaper but is also depend which tiles you are choosing cos they are range from different price
