Hi Pinklady, hahaha... actually me too! always want to clean those black spots as much as i can. But then I am getting very tired of cleaning those stubborn spots. Sometimes, i just can't be bothered anymore. As for the yellow stains, i rubbed them off using chlorine ... Hi asianms, Hi-5!!! I like Lami's furniture too! I didn't even know they've closed down till recently.

Hi Jesperbg, Hmmm... Sorry, i can't remember what is the brand of the kitchen top. Hi pOison_pOt, Actually the sofa is from a brand called Lami which was located in Great World City more than 6 years ago... However, i think the shop has closed down. The coffee table is from Lami too.

Hi Jesperbg, My Kitchen top is solid surface. Donno why there are always black stains/ yellow patches, like the ones shown in the pics. Even if i use detergent/Jif and scrub to clean, the stains are still there. I am not sure if other pple face the same problem as me... Pls share yr secrets in maintaining the kitchen top. Yellow stains/patches. Black stains/patches. Black stains/patches.

Hi skymars, Have PM-ed you the name of my renovator.
-
Hi 666, Yes, mine's a 4-rm flat. Hi Cloyn, Thanks for the compliment. Glad to hear that $27K for the renovation was a good price. Actually, if I have more money, i would love to do more to my flat... especially the toilets. Prefer dark wall & floor tiles instead of the "beigy" color ones we're having now.
-
Hi ahockz, Hmmm... Is that anything i need to take note of now that I am "stuck" with white solid surface? How do i keep it clean? Thanks for the compliment. Yes, my solid surface is flat all the way to the basin. We prefer clean lines, hence we decided not to have any "bumps" at the end.

hihi Here're some of the pics of the "final touches". Dining Area : Used back the old set of dining table and chairs from the old flat. The dining table is too big for the dining area. Kitchen : Finally the black glass is fixed. Do you think there're too many colors in the kitchen? Sigh... White solid surface is really difficult to maintain.

Initially my hubby and I wanted to do up the flat till "nice nice"... but then due to budget constraint and time constraint, we lower our expectations. hahaha... We didn't even monitor the renovation process closely and became very "chin chai". Good for our ID lor... but then sometimes when i look at those things which aren't done properly, it's quite an eyesore...

Hi Pinklady, Sorry that i "MIA-ed" for quite a while. Yah.. no choice. My husband and I don't earn much hence can't spend much on the reno. Ermmm... actually most of the furniture are from our previous flat. This is our second flat. Save money. Will post more pics soon. There has been some delays in settling some of the stuff.
-
Hi Hi Totally agree with the rest ... Very Nice place you have there... Envy Envy...

My hubby and i want our flat to be uncluttered and simple as possible. However, we have lot of rubbish "collected" over the years... (can't bear to throw away the stuff) Hence, we specifically wanted our ID to "create" as much storage space as possible. That is why the entire TV console has lot of "compartments" to store our rubbish. If we don't have so much rubbish, we would have a much simpler designed TV console. Glad that the "end result" doesn't look very cluttered.
