haiz...... Yah... Very very sian to see so many footprints...... The company gave us 6 mths warranty that if the footprints don't go off, then we got to change the floorboard again lo.... BUT... With a lighter color... REALLY??????? How do you know??? But i feel that nowadays, all materials and whatsoever are all from CHINA!!!! haiz... anyway... Im quite tired with all the cleanings lo.... luckily our wedding is over and we have more time to clean the house..... now is time to monitor the floorboard now.... I even bought bedroom slippers to prevent footprints lo! I will see how it goes after i clean the whole hse tmr.....

and... I don't want to have this mess again lo.... So sian..... Look at the mess they all did.... And the workers never even bother to take care of the walls... Anyhw place the floorboards in my Living room without any protection...... and the painter need to come back and touch up some of the paints in all 3 rooms and living room....

Ya.. I do agree that the laminates is nice lo... I love it at first sight...... Our first batch of laminates are not dusk... Duno y after using thinner to clean off also cant go off... So their office decide to strip off and redo with new one..... Duno whether izit becoz of their new batch of laminates with wax over it that leave all the footprints.... And their guys told mi all the footprints will only go away after 3 mths... haiz.... Causing mi so much problem that i got to delay the delivery of my bed again......

haiz... they cleaned up... but we are clean freak... so we vacuum, magic clean, mop... We wait for it to dry then walk over it and.... Footprints are still THERE!!!! I think the problems lies with the laminate ppl lo.... This is the first time such a thing happen and we are the first who encounter and also the first to use this new batch of floorboard! Dunno isit good or bad to be the first to try......

haiz.. its time to update here again.... Problems and problems and problems with my laminates!!!!!!! Previously was old floorboard installed and found that there are lots of white stains and got to strip of all floorboards for all 3 rooms.... Now... All 3 rooms installed with new floorboards and all 3 rooms have lots and lots of footprints which cant be wiped off!!!! ARRGH!!!! This is so frustrating!!!!! I need to move in soon and how am i going to clean off all the footprints.... Feedback from the laminate contractor that this is a new batch of floorboard with wax over it to have some resistant against water..... and need to be cleaned off using hot water..... I think i cleaned the new floorboard for like 3 times and after that i walk past and i still can see footprints lo!!!! Not sure if you all cant see the footprints on the floor.... Anyway.. oh ya.. forget to add.... My laminates has some problem.... And all laminates in all 3 rooms need to be taken off and reinstall again!!!!! So sian.....

no leh.... This is the one they ask us to buy..... our contractor tried to use GIF to clean but the white stain dun seem to come out... I saw them spray on the solid top to polish.... They also say black solid top is more difficult to maintain... So... cleaning with this cleaner and a cloth(use for cleaning car) every week to maintain the brightness.....

See if I have time to drop by, I will take pics and post here.... Yesterday, Laminate and Solid Top supplier came and saw the stain..... Laminate 1st solution is to polish it and if after polishing does not work... Then got to take off the affected laminate... OMG......... Very scared it will affect my wardrobe..... Solid Top is to polish and hopefully no more white stain......

ya... Must bear that in mind.... N not to forget... The floor may have paint marks..... So its best to check the floor also.. We saw all the dots of paint while cleaning the floor.......

ya...I think most probably will have defects one lo.... Before cleaning the house, you cant see much coz the whole place is so dirty.... After you do thorough cleaning, everythin will show up........ hee.....

everythin will look just nice and new after the whole renovation is done! Its good that you found another contractor to start your reno... Most impt thing is communication..... Will you be doing up the whole place?

whow.. Yesterday was a very very very tiring day for us.... Total spring cleaning day for my house... Thanks to my 2 beloved sisters and my future in-laws to help us in clean the house.... * The House is very very very dirty!!!! hahahaha..... Everything seem cleaner now.... oh ya... just to add that.... After we have finishin cleaning the house, we found some defects... 1. Kitchen Solid Top has white patch on it 2. Kitchen Floor has some silicon 3. MBR and other rooms laminate also have some white patches 4. Kitchen Basin will leak when the water pass thru the back of the basin 5. Lousy IKEA curtain rod that does not have any screw that I got to hunt ard for holder that can hold the rod... Troublesome! Next time I will NOT buy anything from IKEA man! Will post some pictures of the defects tomorrow.......

haha... Thanks thanks.... Picture sometimes can be deceiving... heeee..... The floor is full of those white dust (no idea what is that)... Make the whole place so dusty...... Duno need to wash the floor or sweep for how many times... Maybe i should take a pic of my leg after walking round the house to see how dirty the floor is.....
