hi, just bought my omazz 2 layer latex mattress! yeah! cant wait to sleep on it.

the salesman called me already. he told me that this weekend there is an additional $200 discount off the mattress. will go and try again. ekardo & houseofluf, you both really have no regrets getting the omazz mattress? do you know what is the diff between omazz and lotus mattresses? i just want to be sure before i get it. i almost got the simmons charleston and just before i went down to confirm it, i read both your contribution and decided to give omazz a try and have since cancelled my simmons.

is that all i can ask for? can press for more or not? i was about to drag my sis to go with me too but the sales man told me that i can get an authorisation form signed by her to use with her robinson card without her being present. so that just what i am going to do. will go selection for one omazz this weekend.

i love to have a giant schnauzer too. there was someone giving up a giant schnauzer and i told my hubby i wanted to adopt, he just gave me the dager stare. haha anyway, the adoption requires the adopter to live in a landed property. no chance for me at all

lucky is so beautiful! i have 2 schnauzers too. both are adopted. this is lao da - 4 year old male. adopted when he was 2 1/2 years old. fierce guard dog of my house but is super manja once you know him. this is lao er - 2 year old female, adopted when she was 5 months old. super naughty and mischievous, destroyer of things at home.

the 2 layer latex one cost $4019 after discount (20%+10%) and 5% more if have robinson card. thats all. can bargain in meh, in that kind of place? what can i ask them for?

do you mean just put those charcoal that we use for BBQ can already? how much to put? if this works, i would rather do without the ventilating fan.

thanks. kdk told me that they have phased out those smaller fan. now it the new type with new technology and whatever rubbish la. they just want to sell you the higher end product. and the fan has a square cover on the outside. now they only carry this model 15WHPA.

hi, i am looking for ventilation fan for my bathroom. seems like there are not many people who can fix this anymore. approached KDK but their installation charges are sky high! higher than the fan itself. they told me that they no longer cut the glass to fix the fan but instead, they install the fan onto a piece of arcylic then mount the arcylic onto the window. the window will not be cut. total cost for installation is $350 (the fan cost only $120). anyone has done this, can share your contact? thank you

hmm.....what would you like to know about curtain issues? my experience with them is quite pleasant. first, i faxed them my floor plan for an estimated quote. when i got my quote, i went down to their shop to look at the fabrics. with the chosen fabrics, then they are able to give me a more realistic quoation. i did all these before i received keys to my apartment. i find that they are not pushy to close deal with me and entertained me for a 2 whole hours on my first visit to select fabric. subsequently, i went to another curtain wholesaler for a quote, choosing the same type of fabrics, but the other wholesaler's price was higher. personally, i think their prices are reasonable lor. i only contacted them to do onsite measurement 2 weeks after they gave me the quote. 30% deposit was only made upon confirmation, balance to be paid during installation. my curtain is not up yet so i cant comment on their workmanship. but they told me that the curtains are sewn by their in house tailors so there is qc check. if you are not in a hurry, i will post pictures once the curtains are up. you can look for min in curtain issue, she is very helpful and will offer opinion. hope this helps.

hi ekardo, houseofluf, i went down to robinson to try the omazz mattress. the 6 layers fully latex mattress feels heavenly. i love it but the price really puts me off tried on the spring with latex but a little to firm for my back. so now deciding if i should get the 2 layers fully latex mattress. seems like the warranty covers the latex and spring which i am very comfortable with. other manufacturers only covers the spring and not the latex.

hi air, can share with us the pictures of your curtains? i eventually confirmed my curtain with curtain issue after comparing prices from another curtain company based on similar material. i think curtain issue's pricing is reasonable but cant comment on workmanship yet until it fixed up. they have scheduled to fit up my curtain on 19 july, one day before the move. keep my finger crossed that it will turn out well.

i am using the magnetic ballast. they just told me australia ballast but didnt mention whether its ATCO. i am actually not that fussy about that as long as they are equally lasting.

hi people, i just received my lightings yesterday and after checking through, i realised that the ballast given to me were not labelled as made in australia. called up the lighting company and the sales guy told me that it is indeed australia ballast but the label was only printed on the box. he promised to give me australia ballast when i purchased the lights there. was his claim true or there should be "ATCO" printed on the ballast. i am just furious that they are taking me for a ride or trying to cheat a poor lady here, thinking that i am ignorant (cos i went on my own without hubby). the sales guy also gave me 10w plc lights instead of 13w and the brand is sakura! i am not particular about the brand but i m cheese off if he is trying to short change me with a 10w light. i will be bringing all my items back to the shop to exchange, so your comments will really help me with the case. thanks!

hi, how much did you pay for the FIR mattress? is it from japan selling thru MLM? how do you feel after using it? are you selling it too? i have a friend who introduced this to me but i feel that it is too expensive for just a mattress and did not get it.

hi mr chong my kitchen is very small and the only place that i can place the fridge is directly opposite the stove which also has a built-in oven. is this ok? i heard that stove should not be directly opp the fridge. is this correct? thank you

i think so too. its the sales tactic to sell you something at a high price and not questioning. yesterday i went to a few more lighting shops to check and enquired about the so called german made plc lights. all the shops told me that there is no german made light fitting in the market and all are made in taiwan or china! i was totally shocked. was the first shop in balestier trying to rip me off by selling a same fitting but claiming to be german made? i have no clue! but i must say their service was excellent even i didnt buy anything from them. i also found out that one piece of lighting in this particular shope was selling at half the price in a shop in geylang! perhaps we are just paying for the services

hi, went to scout for lightings last week and saw most shops are selling the 13w plc lights at about $15 to $17. there is one particular shop that i went to recommended me the german made plc light and the sales person told me that the quality is much better and brighter than those taiwan made ones. is his claim true? are the taiwan made ones more inferior or acceptable? i dont mind paying the higher price if there is a big difference. anyone has purchase these german made PLC lights and can comment? thanks
