hiya guys...over the weekend not much done as the contractors are not allow to work...so only got a picture to upload.. its 95% done ler... this is the shoe cabinet integrate with bar top counter...hee the wine rack not up yet.....it gonna be in the centre of the red board on the counter top end.

afew more to upload.... this sauce rack is we got it from song-cho... our basin ...erm cant remember the brand...but is both of us search for some time before we settle on this design..... our air-con unit is up ler..... MBR bedhead also almost done..... hmmm living n dining room item are slowly clearing up.... okie got to stop here...pretty shagged up after a long day at work...whew..

hiya...today went to our new house to spot check .....solid top all up ler...also took some lightings design that we selected for our house.... solid top up..... lightings that we selected for our toilets n house shelter.. this design is for bedroom 2 n 3.... these lightings is for living n dining n WIW.... n this design is for kitchen hee.....

hi preciousjam, our kitchen tiles are matt black with terrain features on it.....as for the bold colours with patterns...hehehe...they are our fav. colours...so we plan to go for bold/ wow theme something diff. from the normal conservative colour combi.... as for the MBR WIW...there is a bi-fold door tat separates the toilet & the WIW...on top of that the shower area is also built in with shower glass screen to prevent moisture flowing to the dry area ....

afew more coming up...... MBR walk-in wardrobe to toilet....50% done..... MBR vanity top...40%done.... Living room bar top with cabinet below.....40%done......(cant wait for the wine rack to be up hahaha) thats about it for now......

hello...today after work i went to check out the progress...and WOW they were fast!!!!!! cabinet with doors almost all up plus the hob hehehehe....... house shelter feature wall is almost done too..... Our shoe cabinet 50% done.... Our book shelf cabinet 80% done......

IC...heya i saw ya laminates for ya kitchen...i mus say its pretty close to what my dear chose hehehe...cant wait to see ya kitchen done up too...

oh yes...there is alot more coming up at the living room jus that rite now its so messy they barely can work in it hahaha...all thanks to the fast n efficient workers.

Yup i think is from japan...so far i only hear tat rinnai n fujioh brand are pretty durable n easy to maintain. i did buy a giant Rinnai rice cooker for a particular school cca group..till now the unit got no probe at all...now almost all the uniform grps from the grp are RENTING the cooker from my grp hahahahaha. so for me i tot of trying out the other myself n see how lor.

hi peeps, Recently went to source for lightings, toiletries & kitchen accessories. heres what i have got down lighting + dining light + house shelter light + 2x bedroom light + kitchen light+ 2x toilet light = $1900 Fujioh cooker n hob package = $875.20 wif gst things not yet purchase. Rubine / Roz frm Hoe Kee(their inhouse brand) sink for kitchen Arino / Pozzi tap for kitchen common toilet accessories MSB toilet basin MSB toilet basin tap MSB toilet accessories 2x spray gun Any advise on the kitchen sink? i not sure which one to get as i am looking at 1 n half bowl, hopfully got some space to drill a hole to install a dispenser. where to get really cheap stuff for kitchen sink n all the taps? my heart really aches when i made the payment for the lightings. i believe the prices are all jack up by the sale-person. help needed urgently...

hi aubrey, initially our table top we wanted it to be granite but the cost diff. from the soild top is way too high so we took a long then agreed to go for solid top. 1 things is we dun do cooking often so no need to get a gd grantie top. unless got kids (which will not be so soon hahaha) if not by then it will be like next 5 yr or so...then maybe by that time we will change it to granite bah. the cost diff is like 600 to 800 different leh. i believe 14k to 15k is what u wish the ID will qoute for u.. but its not going to happen, they will surly bring up at least near 20k. f u wan them to hit ard 14k to 15k....then u got to tell them tat ya budget is only 9k to 10k. one thing for sure.....never give in to them unless they meet ya requirement...like including cooker n hod within the budget of say 14k. dun 4get u still have the electrical part tat is going to charge separately...give tat abt 2.5k which means ya reno budget is ard 15k to 16k ler.

hiya aubrey, did the ID tell u what is the price range of the tiles u can choose from? mus request for full body homogenous tile okie reason is that it will not chip off when u drop hard objects onto it. btw may i suggest that the altar your mum wans to have...to be built into a full height wardrobe...meaning that everything is all hidden inside the wardrobe with clear glass n silde open when burning joss stick. inside the wardrobe, u can customise the number of shelves at diff. height n also include a sliding table top for placing fruits or offerings n silde back when not in use..pretty much like a multi-purpose box but at a larger scale though ya mum had bought the altars but still can sell away as 2nd hand thru those refurbish shop, i believe u can get back at least 90% of the amt that u paid for it. since u r doing the whole toilet tiles..dun go for the kerb that divide the showering area n the WC..not gd at all..go for the steps...easiler to maintain n dry up fast. with the kerb sure either u kick onto it or slip. u might wan to consider adding gilles to ya bedroom & living as the windows are facing the corridors...pretty prone to house-breakers..if u know what i mean. considering that only u n ya mum staying...security is a big factor. solid top wise..if cost is ya top concern then i suggest go for the most durable ones no need to go by the brands...all u need is to pay a little bit more attention to maintaining the solid tops..it should work out jus fine. in this case, ya budget got to be daring...go for 10k each time when u approach an ID....then when they increase(usually they do it) to 18 or 22k range, then u start to bargain till like 12 or 15k.. then i believe u should be able to save quite a fair bit .
