My wife was searching for the Lilydale floor plan online and we stumbled upon your thread at this forum.
We just bought a similar 1195sqft 3 room apartment at Lilydale EC in October. From the photos you posted we are on the opposite side of the development across the other side of the pool!
My pool views are same as yours except they are from the other side and cos I am about two floors lower, I can see the pool from the middle of my rooms.
Have seen that there are many new owners in Lilydale over the past few months. So lots of new neighbours coming in
