i would definitely feel offended if any1 mistaken me as preggy & offer me their seat there was once, i was sitting next to a teen on my left & his mum standing in front of him holding onto the pole. during 1 of the stops, the mum suddenly tried 2 get her son 2 'offer' a young gal the seat cos the mum thought the gal was preggy. both her son & i heard that gal's saying (softly) that she wasnt preggy & refused the seat ........the mum didn't heard it & even chided her son

i will always give way to those cyclists cos of a bad experience yrs ago was knock down by a teen cyclist when i was a kid ..... was 'blacked out' 4 couple of moment & that idiot even chided me 4 getting onto his way......anyway from then on, i try 2 siam them if possible

get a few quotes from diff contractors & then decide if u really wanna hack & replace the marble flooring another alternative is to install laminated flooring.....u can hv choices of light-coloured ones but not totally white .....

i also waited more than 2 wks b4 finally received the quotation from ho bee......by then we hv signed for another contractor

honestly im not sure if supreme is a local anot was thinking of using firmaflor if supreme wasn't available in the end, my SO decided on this 'exqusive supreme' brand cos they hv the same colours & the sample looks quite okay

well, if we really insisted on genuine supreme brand, they wouldn't be able to earn much.... the choice of laminate flooring was probably the only issue (up to now) that i wasn't totally satisfied with our contractor but we had alrdy signed the contract when we realised that he was unable to provide supreme brand & anyway, we were ok with the colours & dun want to dwell on it so hopefully everythg willl be ok

hi gumbokins, it's not the same as Supreme brand .... it's actually from a local supplier (if im not wrong) who produces the laminated flooring (in China i think) based on what Supreme had offered eg the colours etc ...it's abit like copycat lah my contractor was also abit not honest in the sense that he tried to convince us to take other brands eg Premier, Firmaflor etc but when we insisted on Supreme brand, he said his supplier will try to supply it. upon confirmation of our choice of colours, we realised that the laminated flooring being supplied is actually "exquisive (spelling) supreme brand" but we didn't mind cos the colours are similar....

wah, been trying to call Patrick's office couple of times since this morn & finally managed to speak to Ms Quek just a moment ago..... i've actually emailed my floorplan with a list of what we hv in mind to Ho Bee on mon & Ms Quek promised to provide us a quotation as soon as possible..... fingers crossed that it is within our budget....
