  1. Thanks for organizing Khriz, it was nice meeting up with all the fellow neighbours... Especially the "bridging" Lo Hei ...that was fun.
  2. Hey, count me in (2 for me and my wifey)....Khriz, your home still busy with filming ah...just saw over abt 1 week ago, some filim crew at your home... Speaking of filming, anyone of you caught that channel 8 drama at 9pm where the 3 kids whacked the lecher in the supermarket? That was Sheng Siong downstairs at Blk88 right...I'm pretty sure of it.

    Diy Wall Paint

Hi guys and gals, I just got round to DIY one of my smaller walls with my sis, and have quite a fair bit of spare paint left. The colors are MESA (bought from the Toto Paint Shop), seems to be locally brand, blending done on the spot using 2 cute machines. 2596A (Light Green) 2518A (Yellow) Nippon Paint Vinilex 5000 Low Odour 5034 (Chestnut) About more than 7/8 of the paint is left, if anyone is interested, I'm willing to let go at 5 sgd per can. I bought them at 12sgd each for mesa and for nippon paint can is 14 sgd. Thought it would be a waste of resources if I let it lay there. Still fresh, just bought over the weekend. Will post the pics of the colors later. Living near commonwealth mrt, so pm me if you guys are interested. Cheerio! Clockwork, ,my wife's a fan of yours, she kinda egged me and my sis to doing the wall cause she saw ur work. So keep up the good work.

Wow, shoe thieves huh... must watch out then. btw anyone know where I can buy decent foldable bicycle?
  7. Good good, actually u can just take bus 51 down south bouna vista road and have a good time at sakuraya fish mart at village centre, fresh sashimi at reasonable prices. The cooked food there so-so only though. Then head over to next door, allenbakes has very good cheesecakes, american style. When come over, I will prob chio chio u guys for dinner then... Saw this giant poster about some new mega supermart at Fusionpolis not far from us, anyone been there yet? How's the place. Seems a bit out of the way if one doesn't drive.
  8. Sure... we were staying in the Jurong Area, but when it comes to makan,we go everywhere. No money to drive, so we're public transport ppl...sad to say that std has dropped over the years.
  9. Looks like I've picked the right place to live in, thks for the warm welcome ppl. Skyspectrum, I think I'm going to like u a lot, you seem quite the makan guru...will try out those teochew places along farrer rd. Yah, quite a lot of changes going to come to queenstown, seems that a lot construction will come abt that area. Even as I was renovating, quite a few MPs came by to visit the area right?
  10. Hi Hi Sohzai, Ye Lai Xiang is the western food stall with very peppery steak(1st floor). I heard the desserts stall is no more... the gyoza stall is called Tong Xin Ju...been eating there yrs ago when I was still swimming for leisure at queenstown swimming pool. Was wondering when the tanglin halt market's hainanese western food stall opens..my sources tell me it's quite good...yet to try out the famous Mee Jiam Kway (peanut pancake) there... Nice to know there are good kakis for makan sessions next time hehe. Heard sometime back, you guys were pushing for the recycling station to be downstairs at the block, any news on that initative? It's a pretty good idea.
  11. Hi guys and gals, We are new to the neighbourhood, Blk 89ers. will move in to the flat in abt 2-3 weeks, spending xmas here. just a head's up to my friendly fellow TTers. Me and wifey love to makan, so we already checked out quite a few of the gd food that's available within the radius of 2 km. Quite good if u ask me... Cheers! Anyone tried at TT 16th storey Blk 116 where a lot of good cze char congregate... 2 chefs, Hong Kong Street (zhenji and fuji) and one more famous for its fried chicken wings(name escapes me). Saw the other day that Queenstown Margaret Drive all the stalls closed, is it really closed for renovation already? missing Yelaixiang and the char kway teow there.
