My old quote states $1.3K yah with wall paper. but i not yet sign on the finalise quote so it will be abt there. urs ahh TV console + feature wall add together around $2K already. ok my 4 ft shoe cabinet cost about $720 to be exact. However these are contractor price lah not ID price. Your quote does not include hacking/disposal and haulage??

i think this quote a bit expensive leh. my 4ft full ht shoe cabinet is less than $1K I was quoted around $1.4k for tv feature wall and console but it is for 8ft with wall paper.

aiyoh these mayer sales staffs really hopeless. I remembered walking in there and ask them, can you share with me what are the differences among your ovens. How come some is more expensive than the other. The salesman simply says :" ohh they are all the same.. u should check ur cabinets first. the last time this happend to me, I traced the ants and to my horror i found them building nest in my empty liquor boxes... and some other carton boxes for my baby products which I tot I wanna reuse.. I threw them all out. AFter which I wiped the affected areas, and the places that they travel with white vinegar. It seems to help. Though we still see some ants crawling around at least they dun appear in a swamp.

yeah wendy!! I went up and when I opened my main door was overwhelm by the no. of men moving inside. So I backed out and leave them to do the work. hahhaha and guess what?? I spotted uncle's van at the carpark again!! Called him and he was having lunch with his boss. He will arrange to meet me again this evening to quote me the addition of kitchen wall tiles. Growler, this morning, at around 8.10a.m I spotted uncle turning into my carpark. Must be he drop off the workers. Then from there go to your place and he drove back to my place again. We majiam all chasing stars like that, chasing after uncle. hahah if you wanna catch him he is at Blk 345 clementi kopitiam now lor. hahaha

the carpentry work he will send jason in to discuss with you once the tiling is more or less finalise. for mine he say he come and meet me for the carpentry thingy i was like huh ??? him ahh?? but he cannot draw leh... and uncle recently very absent minded.. keeps mixing up what i want. black frames become white frames. and he keep my cornices for me... i told him i dun want the cornice... not nice.. he say swee swee leh...aiyo... and he forgot that i wanted L boxes for bedrooms.... i thnk he needs gingko nuts

sure sure, but not sure got things to see yet. If you are going you gotta take the 2nd single lift right up to level 6, turn right, use the central staircase to go down 2 levels. Cos they are doing up the lift now so a bit inconvenient. ohhh ok ok in that case no choice but to accept the wall. I'll pop by during lunch time later to see how is the progress of the tiling. Don't think much can be accomplished in half a morning. if got progress will take pics to show. This morning on my way out of the carpark, I spyed uncle's green van coming into the carpark again!! hahah after cracking my head over the colours, I decided to keep the white frames after all... I choose black glass to go with the white frame so that it'll match with my colours. Lucky my aunt gave me the idea of black glass. I keep thinking about green glass and thought green glass will look very out for my colour scheme though it is nice. So now my windows will look like a pair of white Oakley sunglass, white frames with dark lens. hope it will turn out ok. yah man! he actually use the word "tok"! i told him of course u cannot tok me!!! u can charge material/labour and a little profit but pls dun tok me hahahah

i did ask uncle to quote for a vanity top in the MBR... and am also worrying abt it rotting. cos no matter how careful we are, toilet is still a wet area and during washing, sure will kanna water... I am considering doing the vanity top the way Fondue did hers. only a solid top with no storage wooden cabinet. Since it is illegal, i shall not go thru the trouble to install one heheheh

uncle was busy with the workers After seeing Smallboy's place, the man now wants wall tiles for kitchen........ i thought women are fickle minded... now i know men can be equally fickle minded.... I called uncle to ask about the additional cost and he told me:" very difficult to quote u leh... cos cannot "tok" u.. becos u all give me so much biz, let me calculate and call u back tomorrow." hopefully uncle can quote me a good price for the additional work. if it is just a few hundred bucks, will probably top up and get it done, but if it is 4 figure, will probably give it a miss... cos overbudget liao lah...
