long time no update. Below are some interim updates : walls all painted. Ah Tan started electrical works, installation of sanitary fittings done except for some accesories. Today when I went up i got 2 surprises. 1) laminate floor is done 2) doors all changed All these are suppose to be done tomorrow, according to uncle. He was also surprised that both are up. MBR wall colour and laminate floor Boys' Room Sister's room cum future study room Walkway to bedrooms Main door I don't like the brown colour which they use for my door frames... for the bedroom door frames, I already requested uncle to paint it white.. but for my main door.. i think it'll look weird with white door frame right?? I will be fixing a long handle bar for my main door. Uncle yet to show me sample though.. Ignore the crooked paint line for the frame, uncle will get painter to make good

mine started end april lor... carpentry suppose to come this weekend. ever since uncle took over my project, at least it is moving. before that 2 whole weeks nothing happening at my unit..

asugama, this metal grating can request from uncle. When the tilers were doing my place, I specifically requested them to get the metal one for me cos i think it'll look better than the plastic ones. Tiler told me so long as uncle says ok they will buy, so I just tell them to just fix it and get uncle to charge me. But I think uncle won't charge lah, this is not that expensive i think cost about $1.50 versus the less than $1 white ones? One thing the tiler told me is the metal one may corrode over time.

i also chose Java Teak. My first choice was actually chestnut.. but the salesgirl told me out of stock...

guy77 noted. As for the glass door, uncle will fix up a cover to hide the tracks for u. but do remind him in case he forget. My glass door is up and the tracks are exposed like yours, so I showed uncle and ask whether anything will be done to beautify it. He say there is another piece of cover which he will fix. I should think it'll be the same for you.

i think me using the same tiles for my toilet as well that makes me an elephant too

i also going to repaint white. initially when they ask me I ask for brown frames since my door is brown. but turn out super obiang the brown. I wonder whether they can paint or spray-paint the veneer doors or not huh?

aiyah rondy. yuan liang wo! I cross eye see wrongly thought u replying to me. now not only i got bad english i got bad eyesight also.

my first plan was I want a grey white black flat with concrete floor and wall for kitchen and kitchen toilets. but the IDs i went to all shared that there is a risk of the conrete look not turning out nice. If contractor don't do properly it will look patchy and over time u will see crack lines. so after a few "scare" from the various IDs i gave up liao..

sure sure no worries. I also not confirm can make it cos I am at geylang bahru for the tea ceremony for my cousins wedding, dunno drag till what time. If can squeeze out time will pop by if ready.
