wait until neck long long hor? hahaha i am usually happy! except this morning. now i am back to my usual self again. thanks to uncle GOH!!!!!!!!!!! 90% of my things now in the house le. All piled up in the study room. I will move out box by box to unpack. neater that way. At least only 1 room is mess up

actually nothing much from uncle's side le. now is mostly carpentry. they need to re-laminate certain things and my MBR wardrobe glass doors, ah wei replace a new set for me cos the first set could not acheive the effect i want. Actually i felt bad about the doors cos initially when i wanted to do it my way, Ah Wei already warned that the effect may not be good.. but i insisted them to try.. and true enough lor he was right... quite glad that he actualy willing to replace it for me.. nv ask me to top up.. Carpentry team promised to finish all touching up by next week. Uncle's side only main door handle, today they came, screw too short, ah zhong will buy and fix it for me within next few days. Kitchen awaiting stock for granite top, then stainless steel backing can be up (this will take 2 weeks). Final stage is to smoothen some pimples on wall and touch up paint. that's it!

thanks PJ.. if carpenters show up tomorrow, then i will herd them to finish touching up the rooms first, so that at least i can thoroughly clean up the rooms and start unpacking.

thanks folks. After this morning saga, uncle probably have categorised me under the "handle with care" category. I see a flurry of people whizzing in and out of my place. Glass door folks came to fix my aluminium plate for glass doors, tilers here, workers came to fix handle and little things, ah zhong drop by to ask me whether i got any more problems, ah tan also appear out of nowhere as usual, plumbers came to finish fixing my MBR basin and accessories etc. Uncle soon also update me on status of my kitchen granite top which I give him "license" to wait for available stock for 2 weeks. the only group missing in action is carpenters. but i got more than enough people "partying" at my place today, so I don't miss them. they can come entertain me tomorrow or next week. ha! I guess my most stressful stage is over, throughout my reno, nothing is stressful as I usually take things easy except when I a room to be ready to stash all my barangs cos I dun want to pay for warehousing cost anymore mah. now that it is done, uncle and his team can slowly stroll in to touch up here touch up there no problem.

personal choice is I won't box up for your case, cos the pipe is really near to your toilet bowl, with the box up it will be even closer and whenever you wash the toilet the box up will kana the water, I worry very soon the box up will be damaged. my MBR toilet also got huge pipes, after hearing the other forummers advice decided against boxing up.

aiyoh i am not a technical person. maybe someone else with more technical knowledge can help? in layman's opinion, if it is me i will be Kiasu and change.

don't panic. He won't charge you for fixing up the new lights. he may charge a few extra lighting points about the 22. Can always negotiate. When he charge u lighting point it includes installation of the light fittings.

according to age lor. mmm fannie you got the biggest place amongst us. maybe should all gather at ur place plus uncle plus ah wei, plus ah di, joseph, alan and dunno who else so that we can all whack them all one time :x trap them at your place!!! hahaha

This is the brand that uncle use for laminates. If you saw the Ace one, ask uncle to give u Power Dekor catalogue, I think there's slight difference in the selection. In my opinion i think power dekor one seems nicer.

YES MAN! not only did i see aura i saw halo and wings as well!! Owe him big time and I like the way he scolded uncle, the typical big brother scolding the littel bro for misbehaving. haha

Below pics show the state of my place 2 hours before movers are due to shift in my things. The most important room that I need to stash my stuff, which is seen in the first pic, is covered with thick layer of dust and laminate floor not ready... All thanks to F4 for helping me call Elder Goh when I can't get hold of uncle. Elder Goh came immediately and he called up uncle and scolded him for not doing a proper job for me when my stuffs are due to come in. He's my saviour! He made a few phone calls and within 20-30mins, the laminate floor guys came, did up the floor and the indian workers that he brought along help me cleared up all the dust just in time for my stuff to come and be stashed in the room. Elder Goh is really a gem, not only did he help me solve my problem, he also keep standing by my side to console me.. tell me don't be stress, try to make me smile and after all is well ask me : Are you in better mood now? Uncle did finally arrive at my place.. but that is after everything has been taken care of... He apologise profusely for stressing me out.. I just told him I am very upset as I only requested for ONE room to be ready, the rest of the touch ups on the groutings he can take his time and yet.... sigh... Anyway, all is well for now.. awaiting carpenters to tidy up somemore stuffs.. still got wall/paint to touch ups
