My hubby and I went to Mxnxla furishing (which located right opposite United Sqaure) to shop for a cane swing chair last weekend. And we placed a deposit and the shop owner promised to get a NEW swing chair (as the display one was not very well 'polished') & blue cushion from factory for my collection on the coming sunday (which is today). Am really looking forward to collect my dream swing chair as I always wanted to own one since young!
I called the shop on Thursday to remind (which we were told to do so and to provide invoice number) the shop owner that I will be collecting the swing chair & cushion on coming Sunday. I was told by his wife that to call back n inform again but I rejected her. I WANTED she to convey message to shop owner and she WAS TOLD that I will not be calling back again.
THE day has came (TODAY), we arrived at the shop without a NEW swing chair and worse (!!!!)....the shop owner just SIMPLY put e displayed cushion in a plastic bag and claimed it is NEW!! And I saw the same OLD stain (like coffee or menses) on the cushion! I knew it was e same old displayed cushion. We were told that his wife does not convey the message and wanted us to make a trip to his factory at Sungei Kadut (and we are living in Tampines!!!). He finally counter offered to deliver to our new hse when he next happen to passby!! (??) I can't imagine when I would ever get my swing chair then. @#%*#!
At last, we finally left the shop with the deposit returned. BUT....the shop owner's wife called after we left and which my hubby refused to waste time debating with her. And there after, the husband and wife takes turn to harass us over the phone for the next 30mins. Claimed that we have accused his wife and are they not accusing us???!!! I wanted the swing chair soooo much and have to give it up just because of their attitude. They don't listen to their customers and bascially WE as a CUSTOMER has to listen to them! And not honest as to just packed the old cushion and claimed it is NEW.
I will never ever step into this shop again!!!!!
