  1. icy, thanks, I think u r also lucky, ave 1 is not tat bad also la, it is not very far from the mrt. I prefer floor plan in ave 1 where from toilet u got access the service yard, very convenient. I think they can complete by end 2011, becos only the foundation take a long time, now my site, I can see 1 and a half week they can built 1 storey. Somebody told me, someone went to ask HDB whether they can buy the balance flat (ave 3). HDB said is for En Bloc applicants, I got a feeling when ur turn comes balloting early next year, u may be given a choice 2 choose ave 3 as well. Btw 5rm is from $300k to $350k.
  2. Ya lor, it take soooooo loooong to build. Today, i c the point blk they build up to 21 storeys. I check with the guard the slab building will be up by early next year. I saw one shop for sale at the pt blk, TOP 31 Dec 2010. I got a feeling that it should be ready by end of 2010. Maybe we can get our key early 2011 ? BTW I got the pt blk 30+ storey and u ?

  4. Hi Nesh, I sympathised with what u r facing now , ur dad is not giving u some money after he sell the flat, as u r still is son ? During my time is I m quite lucky, I know buying a new flat is very very difficult. So when I got married, I purchase a 4rms flat from the resale, that is now I had been staying for about 19 yrs from now. At tat time, the price was consider still affordable, with mine, my wife's CPF and about $18k cash I fully paid for my flat . A yr later, my dad passed away and I sold off his 3rms flat, with the proceeds I share it with my brothers, I m the youngest. My flat had en-bloc now, I will be getting a new replacement flat in 2yrs time. I can see can it is very very very difficult in future for my son to purchase a flat on his own, well, if he is lucky enuff to get his own flat, tat will be good, if not I and my wife intend to give the flat to him, our only son, after we closed our eyes.
  5. I personally dun like electrical operated water features cos u have to on ur electricity continuously, if u off the elect at night and on it in day, it is like ur wealth is on and off (stop). The worst is if the motor spoiled, the water feature is not working, then is like ur wealth stop there. Rather prefer something like fu Lu Shou or lucky animals etc. for display.
  6. I m also staying in clementi, Ave 3 Blk 436, till now oredli stay around 18 years. My block had end-bloc, waiting 2 shifted to the new replacement flats next to MRT in about 3yrs time. By the way, Macs is now next to NTUC, It is only a small outlet. Hope 2 c more clementians here.
  7. Issit a new regulation that HDB dun allow window to be built on top of the balcony's wall? I saw alot of flats with windows on the balcony, especially if the balcony is facing the sun.
  8. My current home dun have a storeroom , I use the cupboard top in my bedrooms as a storage place. But it looks very messy. Anyway, my home oredi enbloc, I will getting a new home in 2 years time with a household shelter tat can be use as a storage place.
