Welcome to Renotalk and congras to your new home purchase. I am also renovating my place and will be installing squating type of toilet. I think it is cleaner and easier to maintain. Hope your reno is smooth. Cheers!

You can try to invest in property REIT if there isn't enough capital and also provides a better spread of risk compared to buying a single property. Cheers!

With good space planning and smaller size furniture, I think your place will still look very good. Cheers!

This Myth : Bat Came To My House : What Is Your Interpretation
leechaorui replied to kalimantan's topic in Geomancy/Fengshui
I saw my neighbour trapping bats and killing them for fun. So far, nothing bad happened to him. He is still as cocky as before. In order to prevent him from killing one of the bats he caught, I paid $5.00 to buy it from him and set it free in the night. Nearly got bitten by the bat in trying to release it. Nothing good or bad happened to me. -
There is always an element of risk in playing sports but you all very naughty in your replies to threadstarter who is a newbie.

Agree with the forumers. My FS Master shared with me that FS requires not only skill, but also wisdom and good merits. If a person habours negative thoughts (ie a lot of greed), his wisdom to see from a higher vantage point will be diminished and he will not have the merits to positively influence good outcomes for the owners. Hence, in general FS Master who are very commerically minded are not very effective FS Master. It is quite different from being a doctor where the person can be commercially minded and is also an expert at the same time. FS Master needs to earn a living but cannot be too greedy, otherwise he ceases to be effective. I feel that there is some truth in this but somehow I find that people tend to go for those FS Master that charges them very high fees. If the FS Master doesn't charge high fees, they think that the FS Master is lousy. Seems like a vicious cycle.

Switch on air conditioner and use the fan. This would cool the house substantially. In addition, you might want to use double glazed window and SKK paint to reduce and reflect the heat. If yours is a landed house, you can install sun shade and problem would be mostly solved. I think what is more important is to buy a house you like and within your budget. The rest of the issues like sun heat can be mitigated to some extend. Cheers!

How To Resolve Wall Cracks In New Paint Job?
leechaorui replied to Sunny88's topic in Home Maintenance & Repairs
Hi, you are welcome. I like the painting. When you plan to repaint your wall, use the SKK paint. See the website: www.skk.com There should not be anymore hairline cracks. Cheers! -
Congras on your new home. I am very impressed with the design that you do on your own. I tried google sketch and I ended up very lost. Very happy to see that you have been so successful in designing and renovating your house. If you start a class on google sketch, I believe there will be people who will queue up to register. Cheers!
