Yup.. waiting for so long just to wait for cabinet to be up.. the top cabinet is actually not so big... well, design had been firm so we cannot change liao.. our TV is tilted cos the feng shui master ask us to make it that way. Well Impress 21 is main con and only one of his sub-cons that I had complain about is the plumber.. keke

All the lightings were up and we are very happy with the workmanship of the electricians e.g. by closing the wire gap between the trunking and light fittings. No complain at all.. :-) Tomorrow will start the bedroom floor laminate installation. Carpenter will be in next tue, more photos will be posted soon.

Update : the painting work is completed and expected lamination for bedrooms to be completed this week as well. Yup, as the sink is quite long so we are mounting it on the right hand side of the sink. Carpentry had confirmed and laminate had confirmed as well. As for the stove next to the fridge, the feng shui master mentioned that it is ok.

Hi hi, I had get ho ho engineering for my main gate as well cos really like the gate display at the interior decor exhibition. Do not have good experience with them as well, their site personal is not easily contactable (will not give their mobile #) and quite difficult to firm up the installation/measurement date. Calling them feels that they are rush to hang your phone call. e.g. Monday call in for measurement date, Ho pick up "hallo", Me : "Can I fixed my date for measurement?", Ho : "wait a moment, let me check", music.... Ho :" can we measure on this friday but will check if this is ok with my guy, get back to you again". Me : "ok" Call hung and cannot ask further. Hi Blursss, just PM you The sink is mounted on the vanity top and sanitary supplier said that we need to find a long horizontal clearance tap to match. Only concern is that we need to take water nearer to the sink to prevent water splashing.

I had open the blog as well to talk about the progress. All the wet work is done up very well but the plumber and electrician job is not so well done. Quiet shock that the electrician will not seal up the trunking gap... after talking to Henry, he mentioned that they will help us to seal the gap for the living room only... Job not done nicely..

Wetwork + electrical works + plumbing + hacking ketchen wall + seal up one toilet entrance = about $29K Carpentry (shoe cabinet, alter table, hidden store room, TV cabinet, kitchen cabinet, island table, vanity) = about $13K Total = $42K (not including curtain + wallpaper + light fittings + sanitary wares etc) We hack the kitchen wall to have a island table located here as to open up the space This tile is from Italy and is the 2nd most expensive tile which we had choosen about nearly $8 psf, it actually sparking like small diamonds - from Hafary. Have to match with black flooring and to highlight that area, plain white wall tiles is matched as shown. Difference with ID and contractor is that ID will provide innovative idea and better in colour matching but of cos, it comes with a price. But if you know what colour range that you like and take some risk.. then you could consider contractor cos contractor just inform owner what is feasiable to be done and they are not so good in design concept as ID.

Well, the feng shui master count the birth date and give us advices below: 1) To add a water fountain near the entrance 2) Fountain drawing or red wall at the living room 3) Alter table location is ok 4) Location of the TV (it is slated instead of parallel to wall) 5) Location of the sofa... (initially we want a recline sofa then master recomemdated L-shape sofa) 6) General colour of the wall to be creamy 7) Curtain to be yellowish range 8) Bed location for Master room, bedroom 2 and 3 9) Kitchen cannot use black or red colour (my spouse is upset on this, red and black colour is so "in") 10) Flower picture hang at bedroom 3 to enhance health for lady owners. 11) 24 hr lights at three bedrooms intersection way and main entrance. 12) A bai zi tu (Drawing of hundred kids) at passage way if we cannot give birth after a year.

Before log in to renotalk, we had done all the necessary work to select contractors and tile selection. Start of the journey... we had the flat since Sept and had the concept here after go through with the Feng Shui Master. We decided to engage a contractor instead of an ID as we are budget tight. The whole place had to be hacked so we need to source for skillful contractor that are responsive. Henry from impress 21 is quite responsive and communicative hence we had select him to do the job.

Impress 21 is doing my place.. btw, I had looked at EM and EA in Aljunied and Tampines area, quite like the unit size and shape of EA at Blk 151 (tampines) which is 150 sqm (including recess area). Only that my mother-in-law do not like it... too many traffic noise that the junction. :-)
