Nice! The wire inside, servo drive?
-
Mine is ok no banging sound. If they were installed correctly the soft closing mechanism will be able to 'hold' the door & 'soft close' it.

Calm down... lol. I'm much calmer now haha... The hinges had been fixed by my husband so don't need to call Blum service team. I just moved in last Friday, haven't finish unpack yet. I'll request for the Blum house call service to look at the internal organiser to see how can I do it better Probably they will quote me everything of the orgaline series. haha...

Oh I want to ask for abs trimming? Normally only on the door? Cos I have a space for microwave oven, no door just a hole, the side no abs trimming leh & can see the black lines very obvious. I'm using the 12mm laminate...

Finally, a picture to show what's the different between 155deg hinges & 170 deg hinges. I rest my case!

Before (using 170deg hinges) After (using 155deg hinges) At 90deg door opening:

Continue the story of larder unit cannot open, my husband & I head down to a shop along Bkt timah road to buy the blum 155 deg hinges. A man serve me, not very friendly, I brought along the Blum catalogue with me & show him what I want. Below is the conversation: Me: the hinges is it with spring or without spring? (Cos the catalogue got 2 types with spring & without spring) Man: of course got spring one. Without spring cannot close. Me: the spring one how does it work? When open will spring & open straight till 155 deg? (If that's the case will knock my fridge) Man: yes Me: if the door open 90degree can pull out the inner drawer or not? Man: CAnnot. Must open 155deg then only can pull out. Me: oh I need the blum motion also. (I point to him on the catalogue the blum motion pc for 155degc hinges) Man: why u want to buy that one? That one is not for 155degc hinges. Me: (very puzzle... Cos the catalogue indicate that is for 155 hinges. Man: (went to store to take the blum motion) total $xx. Me: (i still very puzzle, & pay money) Inside the car, I check the blum motion part number. It's the same with what I pointed to him what... & without waiting for the carpenter, my husband fix it. Can pull out the drawer when door is open 90deg what... What I want to say is, in the renovation industry, some men be-little women, some ppl (not only this guy, some other sub con or who so ever that I talked to), made me feel like an idiot. But in actual case, most of the time, I'm the person who is right... So men, pls respect our ideas...

Taken 2 days leave to clean the house today, & to move in tmr. Now my back is aching... Regarding the iquartz, when I was cleaning I saw some black marking ( shld be finger print after touching newspaper). Cannot clean using just normal wet cloth! then I tried using those white color sponge with water then only can be removed. So white kitchen is very tiring to maintain oh...

Ask me ask me! haha so kaypo. i had 4 pd door (from pd door) b4 Reno, out of 4 two spoilt cos my daughter slamming it. Now after Reno only install back 1 at common toilet. but under swing slide brand. Yes I feel that PD door is flimsy. Swing slide door is more solid. My ID say swing slide was the first to bring this kind of door into singapore, pd door was started later by a person worked in swing slide door b4. This is what my ID say la. Dunno right or wrong...
-
Oh take picture tonight ya of the metal part. I'll go & pester my ID again. Thanks for sharing.
-
Hmm I checked w my ID, he say it's like that. Nvm later I press him again. Oh the lock bit is still plastic. Bang wall... Let see how long it can last. This time is swingslide door seems a bit more solid than pd door.
-
Ic. Mine is like that. Outside need to use a coin to lock/open if required.
-
Common toilet wall tile very nice... Retro yet modern cos of the modern color. is it light blue or grey? ( pardon for asking cos sometime camera capture color tone that's a bit different with actual).

Notice ur shower screen the fix panel bracket is quite thin. Will the fixed panel 'sway' when u close the door har? (When the rubber seal of the casement door get into contact with the fixed panel). Mine will... Seems not stable like that...
-
The PD door lock at ur MBR toilet, one side is using coin to lock right? Previously b4 Reno I have the door lock same as ur common toilet. Spoilt within a yr, change to the double side locking cos still under warranty, spoilt again within a yr also. My kid is slamming the door & the plastic part broken. Wondering how come they don't provide metal one...

Although Ikea is from Blum, do note that their drawer track is slightly longer than blum. (The Blum one I bought is standard 500mm depth for 600mm cabinet). I suspect maybe Ikea one is 550mm for Ikea standard 600mm cabinet... (I didn't take the exact measurement)
-
Maybe I dress very sloppy that day so their designer "bo hiu" me. They are very busy serving the other ang mo and tai tai. haha...
-
Yup resilient flooring. Loving it. At least don't have the floating feel & more silent stepping on it. But of course cannot feel like stepping on real wood.

Nice light! I'm looking for my dining light. Do you still have the TB link for this light? -
Wow nice floor color. Is this malkam oak light? We were struggling to decide between this and aspen white. In the end we selected aspen white

Yes you are right! I found out that after much reading. How can the carpenter don't know that?!
