Which Brand Of Hob Hood Promotion Now ?
hello88 replied to lanesraki's topic in Electronics & Electricals
a number brands have ongoing promotion package. U can zoom in on the brands then visit those shops and ask them about it. -
its a give and that situation. Consider this....in future, u might be seller and u wouldnt want your buyers to insist that u patch up the holes after removing the fixtures eg. nail holes left after removing clock, paintings, photo frame, etc. Reason being that u'll be painting the walls and all the holes can be easily fixed up by ourselves using putty filler.

wow $60 considered cheap right. I think scratches or not, one has to take good care of the solid tops no matter what brands u installed. Furthermore, colours also play a part to spot the scratches. Think for the LG solid top, obviously they didnt take good care of it.... -
Hob & Hood - Which Brand Should I Buy?
hello88 replied to joper's topic in Electronics & Electricals
my mum using it, not bad. Now the tenants are using it. Good service as one of the burner was not working properly after installation by the contractor and they came down to rectify after I called them. If not wrong, Cuizino and bellari has the same designs for their hob -
hahaha, another way is to personally go to the area office and request them to expedite the thing giving lots of reasons like u needed the reno to complete in time otherwise ur family of 4 plus your mum would have to get temporary lodging elsewhere. It works for us that time...and they really expedite it and we got the permit later in the afternoon.

ya, every pregnancy is different for every women. I'm very luckily that I dont have any of the puke-symptom...everyday happy go lucky. Even my gynae also commented that its so easy for me till I eat and eat.....hahahha. MAH really got gd reviews almost everywhere but hor....dont be disappointed that its an old hospital and not very big. Its basically a Catholic hospital. Some felt that TMC which is just a few streets away is much more modernized but the parking is terrible which is why they got valet parking. -

no la, depending on the area u looking at as some Hougang EM are selling below valuation or asking less than 10k now. Not on low floor. Those that are still commanding high COV would be the 230series which is near to Kovan MRT. In fact, I'm surprised that one unit opposite Hg Mall sold for way below valuation and its on high floor. Definitely something fishy about it, just like a 5-room that's also sold way below valuation and we're aware of the fishy sales. plus, also must look at the reno. I sold my EM slightly above 20k and buyer just moved in with a new coat of paint. Reno was just slightly over 3yrs with some of the built-ins were less than 1 yr. Heart pain but just had to move on. -

I think I know who's your wifey. ....heeee...she's the one who took over from the retired sister right? I was one of the 1st few cases which she assisted to make the hosp booking and arrangement for my scheduled delivery after she took over from the retired sister. That time, she told us that she's also pregnant. But I cant remember her name and also didnt have much time to know her as I went off for my cesarean not long after she came over from Gleneagles. Oops, hope I get the right person. -

Yup! yup, MAH is pro-bf. Me too, gynae 'cant' go KKH so its either MAH, TMC or gleneagles. Anyway, my main concern was the gynae must go MAH then I'll see him. -

scratches tend to be visible for either white or black solid tops unless there's patterns and not fully white or black. Can pay a visit to Seng Kwong (hope I spelt it correctly) showroom at Defu Lane as they have both solid white and black tops. One of the sales previously told me to opt out of these two colours and go for those with printed patterns if I really want a white or black solid top otherwise go for granite tops which is the best and most durable. Can also visit your nearby polyclinic as most of them have white solid top counters...heee....what a crazy suggestion with the ongoing swine flu alert to keep away from hospitals and clinics. Anyway, no worries, can always open eyes big big and look closely at information counter at malls or shops' counters during your shopping trips. -
usually permit for knocking down walls & sometimes installation of windows would take at least a week or even 2 depending on the efficiency of the hdb staff. Normal permit about 3 days to approve.

agreed but I think if one pays more for the specialist in KKH then treatment would be very different otherwise its whoever on duty (i.e houseman?) delivers for u when u're due to pop as u're not attached to a specific gynae. Mount Alvernia has got very caring and patience nurses. All my 3 rascals were born there so I know. heeee..... I think TMC also good but it was never my choice as I already set my mind on Mount Alvernia the moment I got pregnant. -
white layer most likely caused by soup/detergent residue.

not exactly. It depends on the estate that u're eyeing the EM. If its near to the central area of that estate eg. Tampines, Hougang then it'll definitely cost alot more than those EMs that are further away from the central and need to take buses to reach the central area. -
think can use white cement to patch up the cracks and then use very fine sandpaper to finish up the works but then I think its not an easy job and takes lots of patience. Initially wanted to do it but after moving in for 1 month, too lazy to do it and also the hair line cracks does not bother me much now.

u might wanna consider the following: 1) if the fans are still new and u dont mind retaining it then by all means keep it. 2) If u're to remove it, do u intend to get new fans or replacing the point with new lights? 3) Do u need standing fans for the rooms as the ceiling fans might free up the space in the room most importantly, ur budget for your reno. Change all or retain as much as possible

wow, congrats on getting the flat. Nicely renovated by the sellers and well maintained too. Would definitely make u feel very refreshed merely by looking out of the windows when u wake up in the morning...heeee errrr....its laminated flooring (stated by the agent in the url) or parquet?

yes, me using F & P washer and dryer.

Tks for your info. Any idea how much does a booster cost? My guess was that the Maxonline is having DC problem due to the same problems as my 2 rooms which are not receiving the highest level of signals. We did whole house re-wiring for our old place and never had such a problem with the TV receptions or max online. Guess I'll probably try out your suggestion of removing those wire for rooms w/o setbox for the time being and save up enough to call in SCV technicians. Tks anyway
