  1. October 2007 Bi-Monthly Sale of 4-Room and Bigger Flats 174sqm and only $276,000 nia
  2. start taking your vits & folic acid. As for coffee & tea, no need to worry abt it. Most importantly is to stay healthy & happy
  3. for kiasi ones, they dun take. For those who dun care, drink but cut down. I personal drink coffee as well as tea thru out my pregnancies. No changes to my routine. I just make sure i dun exceed 3 cups a day cheers !!
  4. i'm also trying out the designs for fun using my floorplan but still struggling
  5. can, u can change the WC and sink cos no hacking required.
  6. ya...cheers for everyone but no cheers if we're selling n also buying high leh. Anyway, I think it'll at least be another 2 yrs or so before any1 of us make the selling announcement. If I strike TOTO tonight, I wonder if I wanna re-reno my place or get a EA. hahahaha.....
  7. i know what u mean now cos my friend also did that for her kitchen. But why u wanna do that? It'll give u an additional place to clean but if u got maid then its ok. Cleaning a maisonette is no joke. I've removed many display stuff so as to minimise the dust collection.
  8. its really a waste if u hack off the marble cos u can polish and get back the shine for the old marbles and more value if u decide to sell yrs down the road. ya, gotta reconsider carefully if wanna opt for open concept kitchen. Ikea sells those big plastic mat (abt the size of a playpen 48 X 24)...dont know how much it cost though no la, Hougang EM layout got 2 type. One with the utility room (quite miserable...not as big as u think) and the other type with the study room which is big enough to be considered as the 4th bedroom.
  9. ya. The only thing lucky is I bought the unit below valuation. But I got no marble or parquet flooring...just a very old, 20 yr old renovation left by seller.
  10. try http://www.newkoat.com/gallery.htm but I'm not sure if the tile refinishing last.
  11. ya, that's y I always said I HATE the bloody common loo upstairs. Hate it since day 1 and wld continue to hate it for as long as I stay in this EM. Seller didnt convert the wash area so I had to get contractor to create the P-trap sewage pipes to convert it into a toilet downstairs.
  12. wow your hobby very pro leh . Most EM are some what like the 2 floorplan layouts on the previous page.
  13. congrats. So where's your new (oops, daddy's) EM? oh, its kind of wasted to hack away the marble. Here's some of ideas for utilising the squarish balcony that I've seen:- 1. Served as dining area 2. coffee cum relaxation corner 3. putting water feature/fountain 4. basically a huge laundry area equipped with washer, dryer 5. putting potted plants in the balcony nevertheless, i think 90% of those I know used it as a huge yard for laundry purposes
  14. just dont ever buy wood veneer....super duper lousy. hmm....where u bought yr TV console from? 5ft? Gotta pay delivery charges right? same layout as mine....and I just hate the stupid common toilet layout
  15. wow, so good....still able to use some stuff left by seller. My seller left only cupboards infested with cockroaches. Stupid TV console & coffee table peeled just half a year after we bought it. Me and hubby was inexperience & nobody warn us on veener materials. Haiz. Dump the coffee table and bought a cheapo one from Ikea. So far, so good even though we bought it few months ago.
  16. 1st resale flat, took grant & eligible for HDB housing loan 2nd resale flat, no more grant but still eligible for HDB housing loan if u're upgrading Years later, u might decide to apply for a new flat from HDB, then u need to pay the Cash Levy from that 1st resale flat u sold PLUS the interest accummulated from the year u sold your 1st flat to the year u apply for the new flat 1st flat from HDB (already subsidised rate) & eligible for HDB housing loan 2nd flat, a resale but still eligible for HDB housing loan if u're upgrading 1st flat from HDB (already subsidised rate) & eligible for HDB housing loan 2nd flat also from HDB flat & eligible for HDB housing loan if its bigger flat BUT U NEED TO PAY CASH LEVY AFTER U SELL OFF YOUR FIRST FLAT
  17. May I know how much u paid for your TV console? Me looking for something like that but targetting an all white console....but so far, no $ to buy one to replace my existing one.
  18. reno completing soon? I love your kitchen wall tiles? Is it in 1 by 1 or 2 by 1? Cant see the grout so cant tell the size of the tile but really good choice of wall tiles
  19. love your ang ang & or or kitchen cabinet. Good combi of colours. Btw, what's the make of your hob and hood? How come gotta slant the hob? What's the reasoning for the FS?
  20. everyone so quiet today. bekind, is this same as yours?
  21. no la, it never cross our minds to have glass at the staircase. The original railings from HDB still the strongest and also save $ on it by not doing anything.
  22. Thanks. After we signed the OTP, hubby bought the 1m tall Mother Mary. We had to decide where's the best place for the altar & the featured wall was hubby's idea. Each squarish tile cost $10. I cant remember how many we bought.
