  1. I live in CCK and the toilet in the main and master bedroom is kind of unusual. The level of the floor are higher than the master bedroom floor. Last year, I redo the toilet wall and floor tiles, lay the room floor with laminate and seem ok for a year. Some sign that was observed was the lower corner of the toilet door frame is turning brownish. Didn't care much about it until the water seep out to the laminate and it pops. Contractor came to assess, did some water testing and found that potentially the water is seep through some crack. He remove 2 tiles, dig some kind of drain in it, pour this white solution which was supposed to seal the crack. We flooded the toilet floor with water after 3 days (he says next day) and the water still seep through but this time with the water solution. I am lost on what to do and the contractor seems to want to charge me... can he? RGds
  2. Beware of this Rega118. I have one installed but its very dubious. 1. Rega claims to be from UK but I cannot find it in google in UK.. strange... was it REGAL that we use to have see 2. The copper heater element is life time but you have to pay $35 for transportation even if its under warranty... 3. The parts that connect the inlet and outlet are very flimsy and it will crack even with the slightest pull from the shower hose so be very carefull if you own it. So be really careful when you purchase this brand and this model. They need to improve on the parts reliability. It can be a very good heater if these problem are solved. I have another form Technogas, it has a external pipe at the outlet. This will solve the broken water outlet valve problem... its also a good investment...
  3. I have been seeing $50 to $80 aluminium bifold door for toilet in the classified but most contractor are quoting $220 per door. Any idea why the difference or if you have checked with them before. I did call and understand that its all included with labor also.
  4. I must say I've lost all faith in LG. I've bought a LG HDD DVD recorder about 1.5year but I cannot record on the DVD-RW after 8 times of burining. Also bought a LG 2 doors fridge with already 5 times servicing from the repair man but still having problem. The freezer just froze up and the whole fridge become full of frosting. Its supposed to be non frost fridge. The reliability is total disappointment. I will b
