Yeah, we heard about it also.. But no other place to put the dining table anymore . So we try to arrange the dining table to such a way that we are not sitting right below the beam.

We bought it during the high period, and ended up paying around 400k for this unit....

yeah.. we like Bishan also... As for the beam, this is really a big headache.. we are thinking of placing the dining table right below the beam.. Actually we want to buy dining light as well and hang it below the beam, but scare the wiring will turn out to be quite messy. Anyone has the same layout and care to share their ideas??

XiaoBinBin: Does your unit have the same floor plan as us? The beam is our biggest problem as well.. We just tried to cover it with false ceiling.. can't cover the whole beam though... Pinkpetter: yeah, we are doing the whole flat... and now there're still a couple of additional items in our wish list... hahaha... hope we can work them out within our tight budget...

Not whole wall, but 1 side of the wall at the shower area at the end of master bathroom. Really hope that uncle Soon can accommodate as we are not using mosaic at all...

mrspiglet & pinkpetter, yeap we have finalized our quotation at around 26k but I think it will still grow .. We bought almost all the items but still need to wait till 15 April to start our reno.. Tomorrow we are planning to look for tiles..

Thanks... Initially we only prepare to fork out 20k to do our renovation but after we met Ah soon we end up doing almost everything hahaha... At first we are not planning to do both bathroom... But because Ah soon's quotation very reasonable so we end up doing everything including redo both bathrooms, re-tiling living room and re-wiring also... dunnoe whether ah soon is willing to throw in some FOC items or not?
