No, it's not protruding out. There's wood plank at the back and the part with laminate is thicker wood plank. It serves as the frame for the mirror.. so the join between the mirror and the laminate are flat when you touch it... It's our dining area, to prevent the mirror being knocked by chairs or the dining table, we decided to do half length only. The laminate is around 1m height from the floor, and the dining table is usually around 85-90cm. So we got some buffer between the table and the mirror.

Today not much progress... All rubbish and paints have been removed.. But..... the floor tiles are still very very dirty! Very scared they cannot be cleaned anymore... This is the only new addition today:

Just went to check on the progress again.. The carpentry rectifications are all done, and all T5 lights are up.. The kitchen with all drawers installed: 3 new BLUM drawers: Shelve in kitchen to place cookies and spaghetti The MBR TV feature and headboard with t5 lights installed:

Got some problem with our rainshower, it's used for concealed s/s piping.. Luckily, Henry from Royal Franco allowed us to change it to new model.. Though need to topup a little bit more but at least the problem was finally resolved.. Henry kept saying the new rainshower is more solid and better.. hopefully it's really better...

Actually initial HO should be 1st June but seems like we need to extend. hopefully can still HO by early of june. actually we were planning to tell jason for the black trimmings but before we told him he suggested that to us.

Very happy today... Jason called us earlier saying he's on his way to our place to give us some rice dumplings.. Waited for 10-15 minutes, he came with one pack of rice dumplings... He said he made the dumplings himself for the whole morning.. In total, he made 300 pcs... Really appreciate it...

And here a few pictures on our kitchen cabinet.. We like the glossy black ABS trimming very much: We notice that even the open shelves are using laminate for the inner layer, not normal white PVC. Something worth mentioning here, initially we didn't inform Jason that we want to use BLUM for the drawers in kitchen cabinet.. But after they installed them, we found the draw very hard to pull out (partly due to ABS trimming instead of handler), so we asked Jason that we want to change all the drawers to BLUM.. And he agreed to change them for us... Really appreciate that.. This is the small cabinet to cover up the rubbish chute And this is our new aluminium window (cannot afford powder coat)
