Yesterday when we finished setting up, it's already 11pm, so can't test on it much.. I can only say it can get pretty loud, yesterday we adjust the volume to 5 only and I think the maximum is 20+, and we are already scared it might disturb our neighbours. Probably it's abit overkill for us as well.. We bought it for 1199 during the megatex as well. Not long after we bought it, we saw there's ads on straits times best denki/gain city got promotion deal for 999 only for toshiba full hd 42", not sure if it's the same model.. but we went to best denki/gain city a few times, we never see such a promotion... so not sure whether it's real.. Not sure about the picture quality, I guess it's alright... Actually to really be able to differentiate it you need to have a bluray movie.. haven't tested on local channels though..

Yeah, it's from Sin Lek.. You are using the same tiles also, right? Yes, it was using the white silicon before.. I called Uncle that it's not acceptable at all, and we don't want to use silicon at all around the hood.. So in the end, he changed a new hood extention and redo the s/s backing.. But when we went there, they still used the silicong but it's clear silicon.. I actually spoke to one of the carpenter who came to install black glass on my TV console yesterday, he told me if no silicon, the hood will be shaky and very noisy.. So I guess there isn't any other choice...

we are still try to ask uncle to come and take a look at our stainless steel backing. but he is too busy (but he said he will come this afternoon. let's see ) that's why we still cannot get our HO. As for the laminate flooring, it was not covered when they do their work that's why we got those patches and honestly we are not confident it can be rectified also... maybe we will just accept it since it will be covered by our mattress (we are doing platform bed anyway so there will be no bed frame at our MBR)

My house more or less settled, but we are still not very satisfied with our kitchen stainless steel backing.. They put too much silicone and it turned out not nice Other than that our MBR laminate flooring got those white patches :'( :'(

I think he meant my place.. Now, we are still going through the rectification, not sure whether tomorrow can be completed. Just went there earlier, surprised to see 1 broken tile on the foyer area but they have plastered the uneven walls, changed the hollow tiles, fixed the electrical problems, fix the toilet accessories .. There're still a couple of things undone: final painting and touch-up, replace the broken tiles (don't know who did it) and now still waiting for the tiles to come tomorrow, and just found that there's new scratch on my living room tv console (don't know who did it as well) quite a big scratch so need to ask uncle to replace it as well, polish the solid surface as there're a few white patches, patch up the hole in my storeroom, fix the big mirror in my master bathroom, polish the homo tiles, acid wash for both toilets and eventually the general cleaning... seems quite a lot of things need to be done, but uncle told me should be completed by tomorrow otherwise they will continue it on Saturday.. I personally think that it's quite impossible to finish by tomorrow..

Other than Goodrich, do you know any where can get nice wallpaper?? Went to Goodrich to ask for quotation for the MBR headboard and tv feature wall area.. And I was quoted 1k for the wallpaper and installation... the installation itself costs me 300 bucks... Not sure if DIY is possible hahaha...
