I bought the 42" A83 during Sitex in Dec, price was slightly more than 2k... was delivered on 30th Dec... Satisfied with the TV...

I have a TV console (given by previous owner) that is made of laminated wood. the surface is rough and has grainy lines. as i do not like the color, can i buy paint and paint over it? I intend to change the color to gloss white, but i am concern abt the result? has any1 tried b4? please reccomend the type of paint, or what i should look out for b4 commiting myself to DIY and change the color of the TV console. TKS...

yeah.. i second that idea... i am also hoping to get a F&P fridge... they are simply in design, yet cool and sexy finish.... for the white, stainless steel or the iridium finish.... and lastly....4 ticks for energy saving....

i have tried the Simmons Glendale. it is a nice bed, but i was afraid of the pillow top being worn out as time goes by. u can ask the sales, and they will tell you that it is true that the pillow top will be thinner as time goes by. so tat means that the quality and feel that you initally have will defer too rite? this was the main factor thats why i did not take the Simmons.

another piece of info, TAKA will be having members sale sometime in JAN'09. so if u can, be a member of taka before the sales start and u can enjoy even more savings.

its a pillow top layer. hmm... as you have mentioned, maybe i get different feeling frm the 3 beds is bcos the beds have been there for different period of time. cos at the taka outlet, the lady mentioned that the bed is newly shipped in recently. thats y taka bed was the best!! soft and so comfy.... maybe should heed ur advice and get a good overlay instead.... cheaper smore....

Well, if you cant get it 'off the shelf', maybe u can consider customizing a bed frame to your liking? the shops at furniture mall can do customization for you and can alter the size, type of material, color, etc to your liking. you can consider this option if you still cant find a suitable bedframe.

I have been to 3 outlets, Taka, Robinsons, and Simmons gallery at Paragon to test out the Beautyrest Glendale. At each location which i tested, all 3 beds gave me different feel while i lie on it. so far, the bed at taka gave me the best feel. did anybody else encountered this exp b4? cos i worry that if i order the bed, the delivered bed may have a different feel again from the initial one that i have tested.
