I am planning to look for carpenter to build for me a cabinet. I have the drawing and size (around 4ft height and 2ft width). Just need someone to build it with solid wood and glass panel door. I am looking at good solid wood (e.g. teak wood) with only varnish. Please contact me at (deleted) if anyone can do it. THanks.

QUOTE (ericwi @ Nov 25 2010, 02:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi all, My HDB flat was upgraded sometime back. Now , the handle of my bathroom door has broken. I've checked with the hardware store and they told me to see my town council. At the town council, they cannot provide much help because the contractor responsible for the upgrade has close-shop . They provided me a few contractors' number. After calling them, none of them has stock. Does anyone know when I can get them? Thanks Hope this reply don't come too late for you. I bought mine at one of the shop locate at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2. A bit expensive at $17. You can contact me at 9824XXXX if you need the exact location. I received quite a numbers of Brothers asking where to get the handle after my posting for past few months. The shop I bought the handle is at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2, Blk 5022. You can take bus at the bus stop outside Ang Mo Kio MRT station (most bus will reach the place except for bus 88 will not go). It take only few stops to reach the place. The buses just stop in front of Block 5022. Is a two to three storey block. Drop at the bus stop just before the one infront of Gain City. You can easily find the shop as it sell and display all type of door and cabinet handle. I remember it has front glass panel and door. Good luck for your search. Is still worth to buy a handle for replacement and I don't like those designed with frame as they collect dust and hairs that hide within the frame. Difficult for house keeping.

Beware Of Furniture Club @ Imm ( Realy Dishonest Sales Method)
jyilailong replied to BattlementG's topic in Home Furnishings
I remember I have a similar experience when I bought a sofa at IMM (but may not be the same shop) that cost me $3K++ many years back..... The leather sofa that display is red and we like the colour so ordered a new set with similar colour.... I were very dissapointed when I received the sofa delivered to us. The leather look dirty and a bit old to me (Look like display set to me). I feel troubled and I suspect they sent us the displayed set.... so I and my wife went down IMM to take a look of the display set.. To our surprise, the display set look much new and cleaner than the one at our house..... So I told myself, not to buy any furniure from them again...... \ Above just my experience... -
Anyone can advise where can I purchase the stainless steel curtain hook? The normal one get rust less than a month. Thanks. JL Long HP: removed

jyilailong replied to jyilailong's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
Thanks for advise. Check with some of the hardware store, they don't have it. It is not those normal type of metal butterfly hint. It come with two plastic part for mounting on the door and the metal part will sink into the bifold door when the door is straighten. -
My HDB Bi-fold toilet door break off at the hint area. I'm now looking for contractor to replace back the same type of door (or something similar without the need to change the frame). Thinking to post picture, but not sure how to do it. Anyone can recommend a contractor to do it? I stay Sambawang area. My contact number (removed) Thanks.
