  1. Pelmets are used to cover the tracks , they are optional not an essential item. but i have a question. these days ppl still using the track system kind of curtains? coz i realised that ikea/spotlights are all selling button or velcro kind, which is really much more convenient.. so shld i change the track system to just a pole for the button or velcro kind ? please advise.

    Doors

not advisable to use wood... (have alot of maintenance problems one!") yard entrance--- aluminium swing door (glass infill) bathroom--- Aluminium bifold($) or aluminium pd door($$)
  5. 1. agreed 2. agreed---totally not suitable 1.huge swing radius (hit ppl sitting on toilet bowl)2. warped after years 3. Actually HDB projects' workmanship is the same if not better than private projects. There is bound to be workmanship issues for all projects coz these works are done by foreign labourers and they are equipped with only the bare minimum knowledge and skills. However, HDB have more stringent checks and Q.C than private. so i believe that their work should be better. (just my opinion)
  6. my bathroom is very small... the door panel will hit the person sitting on the toilet bowl.. which could be dangerous.... so i feel like changing the door to something leh... sliding door cannot work not enuff space i think i will move e basin out of the bathroom like the design i saw when i wen to some bali resort... Key point: why are the toilets getting smaller and smaller!!
  7. wow pebbles quite nice........ haha can steal yr idea
  8. I have friends who took these hss doors down and I was told that SCDF advise us not to take down but it is up to owner's discretion.... If there isnt any issue, i really would like to take down mine... it is huge bulky and without any use! waste of space ...
  9. Thanks 4 all teh advise, Am I right to say that.... it is recommended to change the rotting door frame, should cost about $110 for installation of door frame Removal will be charged seperately. Then, how to prevent new ones from suffering the same fate?
